We met on a boat. 2014. I had never heard of his band but I knew a few members as long time SLC friends for the last 24 years. The show was great on The Queen Mary at “Rock the Boat.” But something happened that day in 2014 that created a spark. Over the last 11 years, I’ve watched him be a completely loyal, respectful man. I got to see that as his friend. We didn’t know we liked the other the entire time. In fact we were told to not start a relationship after saying “I like Tori,” “I like Nick,” only moments after spending a day and night on a boat laughing our asses off. Someone knew something would be too good. The last 9 months have been a whirlwind of every emotion you can think of. We’ve already been through a lot together. We loved each other for a decade+ but we ended up falling in love. We know each other through and through. I wouldn’t trade this love for anything. Best friends and lovers. We have the rest of our lives to go through everything… together. I love you @nicholasgetscareder You’re the most beautiful boy I’ve ever seen. You wild, shy, hilarious, crazy man of mine.
