The days are shorter and the table is fuller. The autumn menu has arrived at the Osteria: seasonal Tuscan cooking, a glass from the estate, and a very good reason to arrive hungry. It's that time of the year again. The olive harvest at Torre a Cona is under way. Hands among the branches. Nets beneath them. Olives gathered for the pressing. Next comes the mill. Then, the first taste of the new oil. For updates on the new olive oil, send us a DM. #TorreACona #OliveHarvest #TuscanOliveOil #EstateLife #TuscanCountryside by @torre_a_cona
Before you’ve done anything with the day, you’re already glad you came. Breakfast in La Serra can do that. You look up from your coffee, see the garden beyond the glass, and remember where you’ve woken up. Torre a Cona has made a rather good first impression. #TorreACona #TorreAConaHospitality #LaSerra #BreakfastInTuscany #TuscanStay by @torre_a_cona
For once, the best find of the day isn’t on your phone. Follow the dog into the woods. Watch the truffle hunter read the ground. Bring your appetite for the part that happens around the table. A morning at Torre a Cona, from the first find to the first taste. Book your place on the Torre a Cona Truffle Experience. The harvest ends. The work does not. In the cellar, we keep a close eye on the new vintage, checking its progress and deciding what comes next. By the time you open a bottle, most of this work is out of sight. #TorreACona #TorreAConaWines #Harvest2026 #WineEstate #Winemaking by @torre_a_cona
A wonderful journey. Long before it's wine, each grape is already Torre a Cona: grown in this soil, picked by hand, waiting to become what the land intended. #TorreACona #TorreAConaWines #Vendemmia #WineEstate #TuscanExperiences by @torre_a_cona
The most human season of the year comes together in the vineyards. The Vendemmia closes a year of work, and starts another: grape into wine. A cycle these hills and the people who work them have kept for centuries. Take part in one of the most ancient Tuscan rituals: comment HARVEST to join the upcoming vendemmia. #TorreACona #TorreAConaWines #Vendemmia #WineEstate #TuscanExperiences by @torre_a_cona
A cellar built in 1729. A glass pavilion open to the Tuscan garden. Two new ways to experience one of the oldest wine estates in Chianti. Torre a Cona, run by the Rossi di Montelera family since 1935 with a winemaking tradition stretching back to the 19th century, has restored its Cantina Storica and opened La Serra at its Osteria for the 2026 season. The Cantina Storica now holds the estate's entire archive of vintages. At its centre, a table for ten hosts vertical tastings of older vintages, guided wine pairings, and wine education for visitors who want more than a tour. Guests who once passed through the cellar on a quick visit can now sit inside it, older vintages poured beside barrels, among stone walls, half light, and the scent of aged wood. La Serra works from the opposite direction. A wrought iron and glass structure set in the garden around the Osteria, it lets natural light move through the space across the day while keeping guests under cover. A chandelier with a beige and ecru canopy shade sets the mood as the light changes. "Creating outdoor spaces immersed in nature is an added value that is increasingly sought after in resorts and country estates," said Daniele Saladini, general manager of the Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel in Rome. "These are perfect places for exclusive dinners and tastings, offering an atmosphere that indoor spaces cannot provide." One project keeps centuries of Tuscan winemaking history intact below ground. The other opens a framed view onto the garden above. History and hospitality, sharing the same room. Wildflowers grow throughout the estate. Gathered by hand and brought to the tables at La Serra, they’re our way of giving thanks for what grows around us, and sharing a little of it with everyone who takes a seat. #TorreACona #TorreAConaOsteria #LaSerra #AlFrescoDining #TuscanEstate by @torre_a_cona
Guided by the land, refined by the hand. At the Osteria, we honour our heritage by letting pure flavours and seasonality lead the way. Tuscany, in the present tense. #TorreACona #TorreAConaOsteria #TasteTuscany #TuscanFood #SeasonalCuisine by @torre_a_cona
A whole year of patience, gathered in a matter of days. 🍇 Every harvest carries the same gestures passed down through generations. For a few weeks each year, guests at Torre a Cona can step into the working life of the estate: picking grapes alongside our team, following them to the cellar, and seeing where the next vintage really begins. Pick, follow, learn. Want to be part of the next vendemmia? Comment HARVEST below and we’ll send you all the details. #TorreACona #TorreAConaWines #Vendemmia #WineEstate #TuscanExperiences by @torre_a_cona
