I was tasked to build the deck around the sauna and cold plunge tub. The wood of choice is Ipe that was sourced from our friends at @advantagelumber. The homeowner choose @cedarandstonesauna to provide this top notch Sauna. #backyard #backyardentertainment #sauna #cedarandstonesauna #charlottenc taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @torrence_woodcraft

The result of this outdoor shower exceeds my expectations. The metal frame is secured with over 2000 stainless steel rivets, holding the Ipe slats firmly in place. The labor-intensive process was well worth the effort, given the satisfying outcome.

As always, it was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with sbinteriors_ and Pettus Builders on this distinctive project. The interior of these custom built-ins feature suede wallpaper. The combination of white oak and inset metal accent pieces is unparalleled. I am thoroughly impressed with this aesthetic. This project demanded exceptional creativity and critical thinking skills. It was thrilling to witness every detail come together.

Having the option to welcome in all that natural light while still being able to create an intimate space was essential. I built these doors using a beautiful combination of rift sawn white and brass. taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @torrence_woodcraft

Honestly, building pieces like this is the best part of the job! The amazing Shannon Bowman came up with this awesome concept—a coffee table that pulls double duty with two hidden stools. taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @torrence_woodcraft

Here is an example of the warmth that natural walnut can bring to a space. This wine room has a dedicated hvac system to keep your select bottles the perfect temperature. I love building out small and intimate spaces as this wine cellar.

The color and texture in this master suite really make all the carefully selected details stand out. I was commissioned to build these nightstands and mirror frames. The Visual Comfort sconces and the upholstered wall and matching bed set the vibe for this room.

A very happy Thanksgiving from the Torrences to you and yours! A few years ago, I was tasked with building this mahogany dining room table. When the table needed to be expanded for holiday gatherings, the two demilune tables could be disassembled and added to the end of the larger table. This was certainly a challenge that I loved taking on.

This is a highly effective way to utilize space and functionality. The @murphydoor hidden door hardware allows this door to be much deeper than a standard door. I appreciate the creative design concept that @carolinadesignassociates came up with. As always it’s so awesome to work with such talented designers and builders! @gerrardbuilders taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @torrence_woodcraft
