A perfect couple of days in the Welsh wilderness with Land Rovers and friends. The first weekend of 2026 with glorious sunshine had us enjoying some of the best green lanes and camping spots Wales has to offer. ✨Magic by @torroverland
Ever wondered what it’s like to drive an overlanding Land Rover Discovery 4 around the Nürburgring? Thought not but we’ve answered the question for you anyway 😆 Fair to say it handles like you’d expect a 3+ ton Land Rover to handle but with the added bonus of @iKamper roof top tent on top! I was seriously impressed with the Falken Wildpeaks which did a great job with traction. The brakes did an admirable job too with me not suffering too much with brake fade but I’m sure that would have changed if I went for a second lap. These vehicles really are fantastically versatile. Over that weekend we drove 2,500kms, went off-roading in Denmark (thanks @tirsbaektv) and caned it around the Ring! All whilst carrying all of our kit and caboodle. Amazing. There’s a bit of fruity language in this video thanks to my Dad and Uncle! 👀 You can watch the full lap and video on our YouTube channel. #torroverland #nürburgring #nordeschleife #landrover #overlanding #discovery4 #lr4 #landroverlife by @torroverland
What a fantastic day out at the JLR Classic Works, joining the National @tea_on_the_tailgate meet. Over 200 Land Rovers with plenty of new and old faces to chat with. Mainly Defenders on display but I also enjoyed the occasionally Hippo (Freelander) spotting along with some nicely kitted out Discovery 4’s. The workshop itself is where both old Jaguars and Land Rovers are restored and rebuilt for customers. What a place to work and build from with surgical levels of cleanliness and ample space to stripe down and build. I spent the weekend heading up with @boris_the_defender and @justinlacey1, finding a lovely @off.grid.camp for Saturday night. Not originally planned in the slightest but we ended up being a few minutes away from @caffeineandmachine, so we headed there for dinner. Very cool place and great to have hubs like this for car culture. Great to chat with those of you I met and here’s to next years 3rd birthday of Tea on the Tailgate. #torroverland #landrover #teaonthetailgate by @torroverland

What a fantastic time we had at the River Dart Land Rover Show this year. My favourite show of the year with a stunning location, great vibe and some impressive variety on display. @brookwells.landrover absolutely smashed the organisation of the show. Ali and Aaron in particular 🙌 It was great to chat with those of you who stopped by our stand. It was the first time we’d had our own stand and for a bit of fun, invited two others to share it that weren’t Land Rovers! Thanks to @jkoverland in their awesome MK1 Pajero “Molly” and Neil with his brand new Landcruiser that he’s building into an overlanding spec. I had a lot of interest on some of the kit I currently run like my @roofspace_official tent and @hutt.life drawer and bed system. I had some fun speaking with young Toby up on the main stage as we chatted about his Defender 110 (@one.life.landy.it). I’ve recorded our chat and it will work its way into a YouTube video very soon. And a personal highlight was having Reece from the @cornwallanddevonlrc take me out in one of the CCV class Land Rovers. Screaming Rover V8 in my ears as we went up and down a seemingly impossible route! Got the mud splatters to prove it! 😆 Also a big shout out to our neighbours @hyenaoverland who took these photos for us 🙌 the quality of their products really did impress me. Too many names to mention but what a community of people we have in the Land Rover scene. Love it. #torroverland #landrovershow by @torroverland
What a bloody weekend. 🥹❤️ @brookwells.landrover didn’t just celebrate Toby’s birthday… they made Toby the star of the show. ❤️ @torroverland did a beautiful interview with Toby about HIS truck and Dan was absolutely brilliant with him. I was a complete mess and ended up hiding behind Georgina so nobody could see my proud Dad tears. 🥹😂 Then came a presentation on stage of cards, gifts and messages from his Land Rover family… Seeing Toby stood there receiving all of that love was something I honestly don’t think I’ll ever forget. And then… Aaron & Ali completely blew him away by presenting him with a brand new terrafirma winch. 🥹 These guys have become so much more than people we bought parts from. They’re practically family now, and I’ll forever be grateful for everything they’ve done for Toby and for the way they’ve supported him. ❤️ Then John from @exmoortrim joined us on stage and told Toby about his brand new Puma seats… 🥹 And as if that wasn’t enough, he told him that Toby is now going to be the youngest Exmoor Trim Brand Ambassador. 🥰 I genuinely don’t know how to put into words what this weekend meant. Over the last year, the Land Rover community has given Toby so much more than trucks, parts, stickers and adventures. You’ve given him belonging. You’ve made him feel seen. You’ve cheered him on. You’ve checked in on him. You’ve given him reasons to smile, reasons to get out there and, most importantly, reasons to believe in what’s possible again. And for me, as his Dad… seeing all of that love poured into my boy is something I will never, ever take for granted. Thank you doesn’t feel big enough. To every single person who has played a part in Toby’s journey — whether you’ve been there from the beginning or simply stopped to say hello — you have no idea what it means to us. This isn’t just a Land Rover community. This is our Landy family. ❤️ And Toby… I hope one day you realise just how many people are in your corner. 🥹❤️ by @torroverland
