This was a standout moment for me back at @torstrophy a few months ago, not the race overall but just the little moment. At the start of the day I told myself to just try keep up with @drescher_ocr as he was in each of my waves. On the North Pole rig, I fumbled transitioning under the cargo net and I began to see myself falling behind. I knew I had to commit and go for a big move to keep up, which fortunately landed and bought me back some time. I was now in the lead, which I did not expect, and took me by surprise. I could feel both Jonas and @holasek_ocr right behind so I had to just go with it.

Thanks to @meganaurora_ @jonathanptstiig for the commentary.

I've already confirmed I'll be racing next year in August, and if you haven't done, head to @torstrophy and get booking! They've got some new things coming.

This is just a small part of the journey I’ve been on. Feel free to check it out and follow along for more.

I played floorball from a young age; I might have done the occasional running race now and then, but I didn’t do any actual running training. I took part in a few triathlons, and things went on from there.

I traveled to a town a bit further away to take part in a race that was something out of the ordinary compared to standard running competitions. I returned a year later because I found it fun and exciting.

My first real race was on home turf in March 2025. This marked the starting point of a longer journey. I grew to enjoy it more and started showing up to training sessions more frequently. I began to build closer ties and felt like part of the club.

My second race was the popular Tors Trophy in Eskilstuna, Sweden. It also happened to be the Swedish Championship at the time. My *second* race, and it was the national championship. I was incredibly tense and fired up. I didn’t feel I had what it took to make the podium, but I managed to prove myself wrong.

After Tors Trophy, I continued playing floorball but also competed in a variety of other events along the way. 💪🏽I took part in triathlons 🏊‍♂️🚴🏽‍♂️🏃‍♂️‍➡️,the Vansbro Swim, Tough Viking, Hyrox, and a few city races🏃‍♂️‍➡️.After some convincing by my teammates, my goal became reaching the World Championships in Gothenburg—competing on home turf🇸🇪🌟

As I mentioned, I participated in Tough Viking and the Obstacle Run in Lidköping to meet the qualifying standard.🙌🏼

And so I did. Later, I signed up for the World Championships, ready to line up and represent Sweden. From having my first race in Mars and later that year in September standing on that start line. Initially, I only planned to race in one event, but Dad thought that since we were making the trip anyway, we might as well register for both. Skeptical as I was, I just went along with it—and that’s how it turned out. The short course was a flop, but luckily I still had the Standard class to fall back on. 🙌🏼🥈

Be a part of my journey as I currently work my way up to reach the Swedish elite in OCR.🇸🇪💪🏽⚡️ taken in Karlstad, Sweden by @torstrophy

2026 competition season is coming to an end. What a year! 🫶

Summed up its been 14 races and 11 podiums (5x🥇 4x🥈 2x🥉)

Mostly proud of the two nordic championship wins (that honestly were a bit unexpected). But it’s been ups and downs as usual. Started the year with a couple of injured months and a lot of alternative training. Didnt preform very well individually on either european- or world championships, but luckily tured it around in the relays. The team relay victory at world champs is definitely one of the strongest memories of the season ❤️‍🔥

Ive worked on my running and seen progress on longer distances. I’ve also put focus on trying 400 m races and learning fast teqniques. Goal is to be a better all-around athlete, because why only pick one thing? 😝

Very excited for what next year will bring! Hopefully injury free and with many more good memories to make ❤️

But it’s not over yet. Next up is a few running races, @uppsalasurvival and @streetlifting.nordic 🤩 by @torstrophy

Maja Wellner just did something incredible ✨

She just won the Swedish short course champs, two weeks after winning the Swedish standard course champs. A few weeks before that she also won the 400M Swedish champs 🥇🥇🥇

A clean sweep. The first time in Swedish history that anyone has done that. She came close last year with 2x 🥇 and 1x 🥈, but bettered it this year 🚀

This season she also picked up the title of Nordic Champion in the 3K 🥇(where this interview was from), and Vice European Champion in the 400M 🥈

I told you that you should all pay attention to Maja 🫡

Throwback to an interview with her after the 3K at @torstrophy back in July 🤩 taken in EFI OCR Krusgårdsparken,Torshälla by @torstrophy
