Hello?
That was so good queer horror books *always* get me.

This book simply had everything. A great writing style, an interesting story, complex characters, fantastic plot twists and overall just a fantastic atmosphere. I had an incredibly good time reading it (even though it broke my heart a little). What does bother me a bit however was the pace of the romance between the characters. In my opinion, it all happened too fast though that’s likely just because i’m not a big fan of insta love so it might just be my personal take.

I love hopping on trends long after they’ve passed (ahem..) But i wanted to put my own spin on this one because even though we’re getting so many amazing games next year and there are some i’m incredibly excited about this one is definitely my number one. Not only is it one of the best Resident Evil games (absolute fact), but we’re finally getting Claire back🙂‍↕️🩶

For so long i was actually thinking Wow, what a cool book. I really liked the setting, i liked the characters and the pacing was pretty good too but then came the ending. I found everything so strange and suddenly the pacing felt weird too. So it quickly dropped from a 4 star read to a 3.25 read:/ by @torydcrius

I wanted to read it for a while but somehow never got around to it until i spotted it in my library and knew i just had to pick it up. It was actually quite different from what i had imagined, but i really liked the way Ian’s character was written it felt so authentic and genuine. The chemistry between the two main characters is definitely there and i can’t wait to keep reading and see how things unfold. by @torydcrius

I just finished Alchemised and i wanted to show off my new bag so why not combine those two things.

I had my doubts at first because the book is so thick and often books don’t need to be that long, and the story just drags unnecessarily but that wasn’t the case here. I have to admit, though that it took me a little while to really get into the story i still couldn’t put it down. The writing style was really dark but at the same time beautiful. The book absolutely broke my heart and it seriously was just 1000 pages of pure pain and heartbreak. Even tho i really liked it i wasn’t a huge fan of the ending, it felt a bit rushed and that sense of depth i’d felt earlier seemed to fade which was such a shame. I also find it very strange that this book is marketed as romantasy because, in my eyes it wasn’t that at all.

It’s certainly a great and well written book that in my opinion definitely deserves the hype it gets. And if you plan to read it please, please check the trigger warnings. The book is incredibly dark and deals with some very intense themes. by @torydcrius

The book was surprisingly sweet and cozy. I can safely say that i loved it. The writing style made it very easy to read, and the characters are just so nice. It had a rom com kinda vibe, which i don’t usually like, but here it fit perfectly with the spooky vibes. by @torydcrius

Two years ago, i was completely captivated by this book, the characters, the atmosphere, and the author’s writing style. It was my first Gothic novel and still holds a very special place in my heart. by @torydcrius

Das Buch war eine riesen Überraschung für mich als ich es gekauft habe hätte ich niemals damit gerechnet dass es mir doch so sehr gefallen wird. Gleich von anfang an war ich sofort hooked und ich hasste es jedesmal wenn ich es weglegen musste. Diese Geschichte macht so süchtig wenn du einmal anfängst es zu lesen willst du garnicht mehr aufhören.

Die Charaktere waren einfach einfach ao toll, ich hatte schon länger kein buch mehr wo ich die Charaktere wirklich so sehr geliebt habe und ich musste so oft wegen coal und hex lächeln. Die beiden haben wirklich so eine süße weise miteinander unzugehen.

🇺🇸:
This book was a huge surprise for me. When i bought it, i never expected to like it this much. I was hooked right from the start and hated every time i had to put it down. This story is so addictive once you start reading, you won’t want to stop.

The characters were simply amazing. I haven’t read a book in a long time where i loved the characters this much, and i smiled so often because of Coal and Hex. They have such a sweet way of interacting with each other. by @torydcrius

I wanted a crazy and dark vampire story and instead got a sweet & cozy vampire story, but i enjoyed every second of it. They’re so precious i can’t.🙂‍↕️
