It's with regret that I'm posting that Bobbie has passed away.

From that January morning when I received a phone call about an application done out of fate due to your original name being that of our past dog, Orla, until the end you were always a bundle of joy. Granny had just started her battle with cancer and I remember Gramps, there when I took the call thought it was a task too many to be taking at such a difficult time. But we pushed ahead and after a shift at firstsource I met this trembling, scared dog. Quickly you settled into the family. I'll always remember taking you on your first walk with Milky on a cold January morning. Your confidence definitely was there when you decided to take Kayes trainers outside the day she was due to run cardiff half marathon.

Over your time due to different reasons you became a joy and maybe a dog guide for Carlos, Daisy, Meeko and Arwen as well as being excited every time you saw Wally, which resulted in many excited accidental assaults to Steven 😅. It'll be weird for all those dogs and for us, not to see you inparticular shadowing mum.

As time went on, you still loved a walk, up until the end, you would become the dog of whom Gramps would not forget your name and you were an expert in getting Carlos in trouble for your deeds with him at Christmas. In latter life, as you had teeth removed you were fondly remembered as a little toothless. But you pushed on, enjoying life. Enjoying play with dogs that were around. You did however hate fireworks night, but you don't have to worry about that now.

So for now, we bid farewell, we lose a family member, the dogs who knew you lose a best mate, a sister figure and a mother figure. But your impact is probably best put as Kaye knows whippets, lurcher and greyhounds as "bobbie dogs"

Rainbow bridge welcomes you today and one day I hope to give you a walk again. Until then, have the best time.

Biffy Clyro at Cardiff Castle. Utterly sublime, or I guess you could say absolutely biblical by the Biff! 7th time and it still hits. by @totaljpm

Nice trip to the Stade De France tour yesterday, as it arrived in Cardiff, to see the French wallop the Welsh. Not just at rugby, but at number of fans, the loudness of the chants and the pride in their anthem.

Hopefully they find a way to mess it up later down the line, giving England a chance to redeem themselves but I get the feeling they're an absolutely formidable team, even if they beat a team Bideford College year 7s would push hard.

Also, save the ospreys.

Today we said our final farewell to Dad/ Gramps.

Thank you to all those that joined us in remembering him today, both in person and online. Special thoughts go to those who would have liked to have come but were unable to.
