I finally have #kavisharma ! There is actually a pretty story behind this. I posted on Reddit that I hope to complete my #GOTY because I pretty much have all the dolls from 2001 - 2002 and a fellow Redditor sent me a message asking if I wanted her Kavi. She sold her to me for a VERY LOW PRICE. And you know what happened. 🤗

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, 12 princesses went out every night to dance in an enchanted silver pavilion. Everything seems coordinated at first but as the dance becomes harder and harder, things start to go off track and alas, they all fall down due to exhaustion! But they need to go out again the next night and dance once again, because when you are doing something you love, you do not tire or give up easily.

Lately, I’ve been gently turning my heart away from the heavy clouds that drift by. I am refusing to linger where the grey tries to settle. What good is dwelling on what weighs us down, when there is so much bright and lovely to hold close instead? ☀️

My sweet dolls have been my dearest refuge. Brushing their hair, dreaming up their stories, and preparing for the most magical season of all has been like wrapping my spirit in warm, starlit comfort. 🧸✨ And oh, Halloween! 🕷️🎃 How my heart leaps at the thought! All the whimsy, the sparkle, the gentle thrills… it chases the gloom right out the door.

I’d rather count the joys than the grievances, dance in the delight than dwell in the darkness. Life is far too short to let the dim moments steal the glow. Here’s to cherishing what lifts us up and letting the fun shine brightest of all! 🌙💫

This past week felt like walking through days wrapped in heavy gray mist 💧 my heart felt so low, tears seemed to find their way out almost every day. I’ll keep the reasons close to my heart for now, some stories are meant to be held gently in quiet places… but oh, how deeply grateful I am to our Lord who hears every whisper, every tear, every unspoken word.

Prayer has always been my safe place, my breath, my first response to everything in life and this week, He answered in the most beautiful, perfect way possible. I was trembling, I was panicking, my heart was racing… and then He showed me: I’ve got you. You are held. 🤍

His grace is enough. His timing is perfect. I am forever, endlessly grateful. Whatever you’re carrying right now, keep holding on—help is on the way, and you are never truly alone. 🕊️✨

Some days feel like walking through mist. Light is there, but it’s soft, and the path feels a little harder to see.

I’ve been feeling a little heavy of heart lately, and I suppose it shows in how I edited this photo of my dear Harnaaz. There’s a quiet, dreamy kind of sadness to it, isn’t there? Like a gentle twilight that hasn’t quite let go of the day.

I keep trying to hold the light up, truly I do—to count the blessings, to breathe deep, to keep walking with hope. But lately, the weight has been a little harder to carry than usual. So I turn to the things that soothe my soul: quiet prayers, small gentle moments, and losing myself in the world of my dolls. They are such tender, steady companions. Silent little reminders that beauty still exists, even when the heart feels weary.

I hope you’ll forgive me for sharing my heart so openly here. Sometimes words just want to find their way out, and this space feels like a safe place to let them rest. I’m still here, still trying, still believing that brighter days are waiting just beyond the clouds. 🌿✨

Even the moon has phases of shadow before it shines full again.

✨ Meet my newest little muse — Clytie! ✨

Just when I thought my heart was settled, along came someone entirely different to steal it all over again 💛

She’s my very first Blythe and oh, what a delightfully charming departure from the dolls I usually collect! With that sweet, dreamy face and those big, soulful eyes that seem to hold a whole universe of stories, she’s simply unlike anything else on my shelf 💫

I’m already daydreaming of all the magic we’ll create together. Styling, sewing, customizing, making her truly, beautifully herself. There’s something so wonderfully whimsical about starting fresh with a new kind of canvas… and I have a feeling Clytie and I are going to have the loveliest adventures together 🧵🩰

New doll joy really does hit different, doesn’t it? 🥹💖
