Happy New Year, y’all. 2025 was amazing and horrible all at once. I’m thankful for my home, my friends, my community, a job that I love, the magic MINI, surprise Lego, and all of the unexpected, wonderful, weirdness that seems to show up wherever I go. I’m going to find more time for my acting and my Jedi training this coming year. And as always, I’ll do my best to help folks as I can. Take care of yourselves. Take care of each other. As the adage goes: We’re all we got. by @totallymee

Happy Droidmas from Babu Frik, Producer Pam, and the class of 2025! Oh, and STV-25. Just call him Steve. With all of those extra parts around Babu Frik’s workshop, when party gets going …an extra droid is going to get made. And he’s always called Steve. Ah, Droidmas tradition. by @totallymee

Day 24. The final door. And we have Holiday BB-8 and a cute little Droidmas tree. BB-8 comes with a top hat. If you put it directly on BB-8’s head, it rides low, like on the baby new year. But if you put a little spacer in, it rides a little high. I’ll do a class photo tomorrow. by @totallymee

Day 23 puts the finishing touch on Babu Frik’s workshop with a barrel of more spare parts. It is kind of neat that they created a little set as the days went by. One door to go. by @totallymee

For Day 22 we have a medical assistant droid. To my knowledge FX droids aren’t typically kitted out in green, so this one seems to be dressed for Droidmas specifically. Party on, little med droid. by @totallymee

Day 21 - Imperial probe droid. A droid party really only starts when the probe droids hover in. I built it using extra red sensors because it’s Day 21 and I do what I want. by @totallymee

It’s almost Droidmas, y’all. In spite of my lackluster feelings about this year’s calendar, it is kind of exciting to find out what is behind the final doors. So here is Day 20. B2 Super Battle droid. Next to little BD-72 for height comparison and because I feel like these two will get into some wacky shenanigans at the Droidmas party. by @totallymee

Droidmas home stretch! Day 19 brings us a very festively colored mouse droid. I appreciate the pop of color, because there have been a whole bunch of grays and earth tones in this holiday calendar. Thanks little mouse droid, for bringing the party vibe. by @totallymee

Day 18 of Droidmas brings us another piece of Babu Frik’s workshop. So far we have today’s industrial double sink, the tool rack, the work bench, and the crate o’ spare parts. Honestly, it’s Babu’s world and we’re just jingling in it this holiday season. by @totallymee

Welp, only a week left and Day 17 gives us a battle droid. I just haven’t gotten into the spirit this year. It’s definitely been nice to have a little Lego joy at the end of each day. But other than Threepio, and to a lesser degree B2EMO, I don’t have any real attachment to these characters, and that’s been part of the joy in previous years. I’m really happy that the droids are finally having their day though. by @totallymee

Day 16 of Droidmas - repair droid. A small build, but I this year I do appreciate any door that has more than 10 pieces to assemble by @totallymee

Day 15 of Droidmas brings us a Jawa in a droid-tastic holiday sweater. Fits perfectly in the Jawa cart. And has already picked up a friend to go to some Droidmas festivities! by @totallymee
