We have a space at the @totalrefreshmentcentre so we can bring people together. We work on that space. We work on the bringing together. We see to it that its meaning is carried and nourished, as it wishes.

We are not making decoration, here. And in “we” I include you who are reading this.

We get one ‘now’ and it’s this one now, and we get one team and it’s us

Full analogue heaven with the most talented producers and engineers at the wheel!
A recent addition which really stepped up the game : an Otari MTR-90 24 track tape machine ! The guys are unstoppable..

Get in touch if you want to talk to us about a project.
We have space for you to rehearse it, develop it, record it, launch it in front of our audience etc etc …
Even if the project is just an idea and you need musicians to build it up, we’ve got you.

So many albums have been recorded and mixed here since the legend @_capitol_k got involved 14 years ago…

Last Friday was the 2nd day of our festival and we were blessed by two super special live sets, starting us off were @rosie.turton & @miryamsolomon who got everyone to sit down (!) and relax into the space as they embarked on an hour of gentle improvisation with voice, trombone and modular synths.
Then it was the turn of another duo with infinite creative powers : @matthewherbertmusic & @momokogill who performed their brilliant album ‘Clay’ in full and surprised us with a beautiful cover of ‘Rainy Days And Mondays’ for their encore !
@miche.dj and @rainertrueby played some gems to end the night on a high..
A massive thank you to them for blessing our festival with their music 🙏 taken in Total Refreshment Centre by @totalrefreshmentcentre

Tomorrow morning ahead of this week’s @totalrefreshmentcentre festival, @lex_blondin steps in for @gillespeterson ’s weekly show - 10:00 GMT live from Total Refreshment Centre’s fabled downstairs space.

A cornerstone of London’s burgeoning new jazz scene for the last 14 years, the crew are taking over this incredible space for a 3 day festival starting tonight, featuring the likes of @poly_ritmo , @cosmo.sofi , @alabaster_deplume , @matthewherbertmusic & @momokogill and many more!

Some love for our partner who are blessing us with some exquisite equipment for this week’s TRC festival (info in our bio).
Slide 1: a big stack of audiophile speakers from @audiogold we set up yesterday.
Slide 2 : our last party lit up entirely out of projectors from @insightlighting .
And keep sliding for a glimpse of their dreamy shops .

Every time we set up events from scratch we have the pleasure of visiting their shops/ sanctuaries.
As well as the warmest welcome and quality banter, they always bless us with an expertise that always have us in awe of their work.
These guys are doing it for the right reasons: the love of the craft and the joy of sharing it with people.
If you are curious about vintage analogue sound and lights we highly recommend you go pay them a visit and have a chat with them!

Just over a week before we welcome @matthewherbertmusic & @momokogill downstairs at TRC!
They are working on a few really fun covers for this show, an absolute treat…
@rosie.turton and @miryamsolomon will be starting the night with their dreamscape and @miche.dj + special guest to close the night off .
This show is part of a 3 day festival happening downstairs, raising funds for TRC to cover some expensive repairs to the building 🙏
