Today we remember Amy Winehouse on the 15th anniversary of her passing. I will never forget the first time I heard her in 8th grade as a friend’s mom was driving us down to Silverlake. Hearing ‘Valerie’ literally changed my life. This is why I dedicate my art to music.

Happy Father’s Day ♥️
@marcr272
My dad has always ridden motorcycles so when I was in high school, I made this number plate for him. It sits on his nightstand next to the ceramic dinosaur (last picture) that I made when I was probably in 1st grade. I like to think I’ve come a long way since both of those. LOL.

Hope everyone has a great day! by @touch.of.clay

“Man made booze. God made grass. Who do you trust?”

Quote from artist:
“Within my ceramic journey, I enjoy researching the stories behind specific imagery, phrases, and lyrics that inspire my work. I’ve always been super interested in learning about the 1960’s & 70’s counterculture like, the pro cannabis movements (& their slogans), acid tests, along with the fashion, music, and political climate that shaped those times of rebellion. All of these ideas are just as relevant today. This plate was inspired by the one of the biggest pro cannabis slogans ever said and the last picture was my inspiration.” -Kaylyn (Touch of Clay) by @touch.of.clay
