“October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month “

‼️‼️‼️ If you or someone you know is in the U.S. and needs confidential support, you can call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233, text START to 88788, or visit thehotline.org. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 if it is safe to do so.‼️‼️‼️

If you are a victim of domestic violence, or if you know someone who is going through it, please remember that you are not alone, and help is available. ❤️ No one deserves to live in fear, be controlled, manipulated, threatened, or hurt by someone who claims to love them. Domestic violence is not always physical; it can also be emotional, verbal, psychological, or financial.

Sometimes, the pain is hidden behind a smile, and the people who need help the most may be afraid or ashamed to speak up. To anyone going through this, please know that what is happening to you is not your fault. You deserve to feel safe, valued, and respected. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness; it is a courageous step toward healing and a better future. Reach out to someone you trust or a professional who can help you explore safe options.

————————————————————————
•5 people, mostly women lose their life to domestic violence each day
•1.2M people contact The Hotline for help every year.
•25% of women, and -17% of men, will experience some of DV in their lifetime.

•Domestic Violence Statistics:
