Two more chances to see MILKDRUNK!

Touchstone’s Executive Director JP Jordan has some glowing words to share about Milkdrunk’s creator and performer: “Cathleen is a powerhouse performer and all-around creative force of nature! In my 20+ years at Touchstone, she has been one of the most talented actors I’ve seen on our stage. Not only is she deeply committed in every performance I’ve ever seen her in, be that a love-lorn tiger or a Victorian-era ghost back from the afterlife to tell her tale, but the level at which she is able to use her body to physically manifest these characters and change the space is next level. If the subject matter isn’t drawing you in to see the show, I encourage everyone to attend this performance simply to see this caliber of performer.”

Come see a performer in their element. Doing amazing work.

🎭 What a wonderful evening with friends at Touchstone Theatre, enjoying MILKDRUNK!

It was such a cool vibe to return to Touchstone Theatre. The theatre has a cozy, intimate welcoming café, and incredibly friendly staff.

Cathleen O’Malley brings her talents as a playwright, comedian, and actress to the stage in MILKDRUNK, a one-woman show. The play runs from October 7 to October 10. 🎭 Support local theater.

The play is about motherhood, unfiltered! From pregnancy and childbirth to breastfeeding, sleepless nights, and everything in between. It takes you through the highs, lows, and sometimes REALLY low moments of motherhood, with humor, and honesty!

Want to learn more about Cathleen and her creative journey? Be sure to catch her interview with Lehigh Valley with Love Podcast! 🎙️

MILKDRUNK comes to Touchstone THIS WEDNESDAY 🥛

A “brutal comedy about breastfeeding.” Cathleen O’Malley’s @milkdrunk.the.play one-woman show began with her own experience of early motherhood: childbirth, breastfeeding, exhaustion, isolation, love, bodily absurdity, and all the things nobody quite prepares you for.

It is funny. Raw. Tender. A little feral.

MILKDRUNK
October 7th - 10th
Touchstone Theatre
321 E. 4th Street, Bethlehem

Still Here is the kind of theatre we are lucky to present to our audiences and community. Anisa Hosseini @anisa.hosseini_ with costar Alexa Rojo @alexalynrojo brought stories of grief to life. While doing so, they shared a way to connect with loved ones they have lost through connection with those left behind.

“I feel so incredibly grateful to be apart of a community that embraced Still Here wholeheartedly. This performance was driven by vulnerability and the comfort and support that I felt as a performer and creator, was simply unmatched. Thank you to all who attended!” - Anisa Hosseini (MFA student at Touchstone in association with Moravian University)

“Doing Still Here was such a wonderful challenge in expressing vulnerability. I feel so inspired by the community and their willingness to hold that space with us. It has a really special place in my heart.” - Alexa Rojo

Congratulations to all involved. Thank you for your art and your stories. 🌈

Cathleen O’Malley @cathleenomalley isn’t new to Touchstone but her play Milkdrunk is.

Cathleen’s relationship with Touchstone Theatre and the Lehigh Valley goes back years. She was an Ensemble Member and our Director of Education. (In the post you’ll find photos of her from The Whitman Piece and Christmas City Follies.) She is returning to Bethlehem with her one-woman show Milkdrunk. A theatre piece she created from one of the most personal experiences of her life. We are delighted to have you back in the space Cathleen! Welcome home. 💚

Come this “hilarious, one woman hurricane of a show.” (CITY magazine)
