Blueberry Burrata Crostini 🍇✨ Fresh blueberries, creamy burrata, crispy sourdough, and basil straight from the farm. This one tastes like summer. We’re cooking this on the Bricknic — but you can also make it in a saucepan on medium heat uncovered. INGREDIENTS: • 2 cups fresh blueberries • 1/4 cup water • 2 tbsp aged balsamic • Salt + ground white pepper to taste • 1 tbsp Melinda’s Hot Honey • 1 tbsp sugar • Fresh sliced basil • 1 sprig thyme • Burrata cheese • Sourdough bread • Basil olive oil DIRECTIONS: In your Bricknic, combine blueberries, water, aged balsamic, salt, white pepper, hot honey, sugar, basil, and thyme. Cover and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes. Remove cover and continue cooking another 20–30 minutes until thick and jammy. Meanwhile, slice sourdough bread, brush with basil olive oil, and bake until toasted. Let the blueberries cool slightly, then top with burrata and fresh basil. Serve warm with toasted sourdough. Basil Olive oil and aged balsamic available online or in store @more_than_olives in Folsom. Fresh produce and fruit locally sourced from @24carrotfarm in Placerville.
