💜 Celebrating an Incredible Honor! 💜

On September 30, 2026, Elizabeth “Liz” Barrood was honored by Scouting America – Patriots’ Path Council at the 12th Annual Tribute to Women Luncheon at Plainfield Country Club.

Liz received this special recognition for her outstanding volunteer fundraising efforts on behalf of Town Clock CDC over the past nine years. Her dedication, generosity, and commitment have made a meaningful difference in the lives of the survivors of domestic violence and families we serve.

We are incredibly grateful for Liz’s continued support and thrilled to see her dedication recognized alongside five other remarkable women who are making a difference in their communities. Congratulations, Liz, on this well-deserved honor! 💜👏

💜 Purple Ribbons. Shared Purpose. Stronger Together.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we were honored to welcome staff from Women Aware, the Middlesex County shelter for domestic violence, to Town Clock CDC.

Our friends at Women Aware stopped by to help us mark the beginning of #Purpletober, bringing purple ribbons to tie along the handrail of our ramp. 💜 Each ribbon serves as a visible reminder of the survivors we stand beside, the lives impacted by domestic violence, and the work that continues every day to create safety, healing, and hope.

We are grateful to stand alongside organizations like Women Aware that share our commitment to supporting survivors and building communities where everyone can live free from abuse.

Throughout October, we invite our community to wear purple, start conversations, share resources, and stand with survivors.
Together, we can make sure survivors know they are seen, believed, and supported. 💜
