🙌🏼매거진 구매처 : 프로필 링크 참조 ————————————————— OMADO CREW Now Available 📚 A historical stories of the Daegu hardcore/punk scene from the early to mid-2000s has been published. - About the Book This is a special documentation of the hardcore/punk scene that organically emerged in Daegu, not in Hongdae. Beyond a simple memoir, this book serves as both a Scene Report and autobiography, capturing the raw energy of the underground music scene of that era. - Author: Kim Tae-hoon (@bongsancomics) • Founder and operator of Omado Records label • Vocalist of the band Striking Youth - What Makes This Book Special This is a precious archive that offers cherished memories to those who shared the stages across Seoul, Daegu, Busan, and Cheongju, while providing fresh inspiration and unique experiences to today’s younger generation. The fact that a scene organically developed in a local city rather than Hongdae during the 2000s remains a truly encouraging story, even looking back now. This book captures the dynamism and passion of that regional scene. 🙌🏼 Purchase: Link in profile by @townhallrecords

Our Demo 2004 is up on our bandcamp! Link in bio. @victorha recorded this four-song demo in his friend’s garage in Toronto, Canada, back in 2004 before returning to Korea. This was even before the band officially existed. Right after @kixxx81 from The Geeks heard the demo, he joined as the bassist, and Kyuseok @common_hq from Townhall Records wanted to release it on his label. That’s how it all started. by @townhallrecords

Kyuseok (@common_hq), the owner of Townhall Records, recently found 15 copies of this album in storage, and these are the last known copies. Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. If you’re a fan of Things We Say and don’t already own a physical copy of this album, this is your last chance. CDs are available at SPIN AND GRIND in Sinchon, Seoul, and at their upcoming shows. Swipe to see the flyers for their upcoming shows on June 20 and July 15. 🔥 And as a bonus, @victorha, the owner of SPIN AND GRIND, is also the frontman of the band. Go see him rampage on stage at one of their upcoming shows. ☝️😈 by @townhallrecords

. Striking Youth (스트라이킹 유스) - ‘l like an oldschool hardcore song’ 2000년대 초중반 대구에서는 하드코어 무브먼트를 이끌었던 Omado Records (오매도 레코즈)가 존재했었다. 지금 기억을 더듬어봐도 ’Striking Youth (스트라이킹유스)‘, ’Boys On The Docks (브이즈온더닥스)‘, ’Hard Life (하드라이프)‘, ’No Turning Back (노터닝백)‘, ’Project Mad (프로젝트 매드)‘등 많은 수의 하드코어/펑크 밴드들이 당시 존재했었다.
#schc_og @terrorhardcore Korea tour 2008 documented by @jonghyundunbar 📸 I can’t remember the full lineup, but it looks like @thingswesayhc, The Patience, and @thegeekshc played before Terror. This was at Skunk Hell in Hongdae, which used to be Club Drug. Swipe through the slides—you’ll see younger versions of ourselves, some familiar faces I haven’t seen in a while, Terror’s setlist, and a late-night samgyepsal BBQ spot. Great memories. by @townhallrecords
