Welcome to Brownsburg, Tempest Artisan Coffee Bar!

Today, we joined the Greater Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the opening of Brownsburg’s newest local business! Located at 7249 Arbuckle Commons, Suite B, Tempest Artisan Coffee Bar offers handcrafted coffee and specialty drinks.

@tempestindiana is officially opening this Saturday July 25th!!

I got a sneak peek inside Tempest, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. From house-roasted coffee beans and scratch-made syrups to authentic Liège waffles (served until 2 p.m.), every detail feels intentional.

I ordered the banana miso latte and the hibiscus matcha, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about either one. 🤍

And here’s the coolest part: starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, Tempest transforms from a coffee bar into a cocktail lounge.

Hours:
Monday–Tuesday: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday–Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Friday–Saturday: 6:00 a.m. – Midnight
Sunday: Closed

We finally checked out Brightly Art Studio in downtown Brownsburg, and it was such a fun way to spend the afternoon! If your kids love getting creative, this is one spot you'll definitely want to add to your list.

✨ What to expect:
• Process-based art where creativity comes first (no pressure to make everything "perfect!")
• Preschool playgroups, workshops, art clubs, camps, family events, and more for a variety of ages.
• Friendly instructors who encourage kids to explore, imagine, and create at their own pace.
• Be ready for a little mess... so dress in clothes you don't mind getting paint on!

📍 Located at 22 E. Main Street in Brownsburg.

🎨 Looking for a casual visit? Their Drop-In Craft Café is open:
• Saturdays: 10:00 AM–1:30 PM
• Sundays: 1:00–4:00 PM
No registration is required for the Craft Café, but many classes and workshops do require advance registration. Hours and special events can vary, so it's always a good idea to check their current schedule before you go.

What does it take to build the next generation of community leaders?

Last week, our Parks Department hosted its very first Teen Leadership Academy, giving local teens a behind-the-scenes look at how the Town of Brownsburg operates.

Throughout the week, participants met with department leaders, toured Town facilities, tackled real-world challenges, and discovered what it takes to serve a growing community. From learning about infrastructure and participating in a mock public meeting, to designing their own park, they experienced the many ways local government shapes everyday life. by @townofbrownsburg

Finally made it over to Brownsburg to check out @hendrickshideout! This drive over was totally worth it! We paired it with a visit to @bestfriendscoffeebagels to make the trip extra worth it. We were playing for almost 2 hours! So many things to play with from ride on toys, building toys, pushing toys, the play area, and more.
