THE PEELING BACK OF WOMEN’S RIGHT has been happening all throughout history & it still continues today for ALL WOMEN regardless of race, creed, color or sexual orientation. Some examples of how this is still continuing today include:

Proud to announce that “First Date” from the MANUFACTOR GALLERY on ToxicNature.Com opens today, 7/22/25, in the curated Rooted In Verse exhibition, running through 8/24/25 at the Huntington Arts Council gallery, located at 213 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743.

In the Rooted In Verse exhibition, which is being presented in conjunction with the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association, artists were asked to find a link between their works of art & any one of three of Walt Whitman’s poems from his poetry collection entitled Leaves Of Grass. For his poem A Glimpse, written in 1892, I chose my 2016 photo “First Date”.

“First Date” is an Archival Digital Pigment Print that’s printed on bamboo paper, displayed on a framed cork board & held in place with magnet tacks.
