All reason had left the world, all order had vanished, leaving behind a world devoid of logic; one filled only with chaos. Dirt no longer lay on the ground but flew suspended through the air. Plates of solid metal shattered like glass as immense shells crashed against hover tanks. The line between life and death grew thin, then eventually vanished altogether as healthy troopers sprinted forward on instant, only to be incinerated in the resulting fireball from an exploding ship the next. And in that mayhem, in a world that had been turned upside down, the soldiers held their ground, for their sense of purpose was the only speck of order that remained. by @toyrealms

He dragged his co-pilot’s unconscious form from the cockpit, frantically looking for a way to escape, but even has he heard the thunderous footfalls and saw the looming shapes emerge from the rain and mist, he knew it was impossible. He gently laid his friend down on the speeder, then stood, resigned to watch fate lumber forward. 🍁 Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🦃Finally finished weathering all my Micro Galaxy Squadron sets, so I’ll be posting more of these vehicle type shots! I’d done a shot similar to this before, but in a snow setting. Once I found this puddle, I know I had to do some rain shots. by @toyrealms

Mimban is a hell hole; that is a fact that cannot be refuted. Sometimes though, during calm, early morning patrols, the planet displays an unparalleled beauty. Rarely, on the great mud flats during dawn, some feeble sunlight occasionally breaks through the thick layers of cloud and fog and drapes the world in warm curtains of heavenly light. by @toyrealms

The bounty hunter eased gently on the reins, slowing the blurrg to a halt. The rain poured down endlessly, dripping from his helmet and first soaking his cloak, then seeping past his armor, before finally creeping all the way to his skin. The Mandalorian shivered, uncomfortable, but no less determined. He patted the tired creature beneath him, then glanced at the bounty puck to determine he was still on route, more out of habit than need. The thick rain, as cumbersome and irritating as it was, only served to further obscure his approach. He allowed himself a slight grin. They were only a click out and still no sign of an alarm. After days of tracking, the hunt was about to begin.#fcc_classicclash by @toyrealms

The droids marched forward as a unit toward the battle unwaveringly. It was not in their circuitry to question an order, yet even if it was, they would not have wavered. Breakable and rigid though they may be in comparison to the superior to the clones, their numbers were insurmountable. As row after row of them joined the ongoing conflict, the tide changed and the slaughter began. by @toyrealms

“The horror of it all is too great for some. The things we are ordered to do, the people we have to kill. It’s easier for some to point at the rebels as a whole and label them ‘disturbers of the peace,’ to relegate them all as the other side, as evil. It makes it easier for them. Now I’m not saying I’m out here supporting rebels, but we’re all people, are we not? And I’ve seen plenty of good and bad within our own ranks. Most of the bad being from those intentionally choosing not to feel. They forget that although we might be at war, we’re all still living in this galaxy together.”Happy Fourth everyone! Back after my extended absence! The work related burnout was real this time, especially after being away from home shooting TV for almost three months. Glad to be back! by @toyrealms

It was easy to get lost in the scale of it all. The breadth of the war across the galaxy, the immense ships and colossal machinery, the endless ranks of troops, the sea of faces identical to his own. It would be so relieving to simply let go, to lose finally lose himself in magnitude of it all. But yet he was there in that moment. He thought, he felt, he existed independently from the whole. And although that feeling of apartness was hardly one that brought comfort, he knew it had great significance; though he had not yet the wisdom to explain why. by @toyrealms

His finger longed for the trigger. Rage burned darkly within of him, pushing him towards violence, but the troopers in their idiocy walked past, not bothering to search into the shadows. Their sense of security was too sure, their arrogance too blinding, to suppose their enemy could be tucked behind a snowy tree trunk mere feet away.Andor seethed in silence, angry at the soldiers, angry at the cold, angry at fate for not giving him a reason. He leaned slightly, trying to move some of his weight off his knee, which ached from the snow and his extended crouch, but the infinitesimal shift caused the snow that had been gathering heavily on the trunk all night to suddenly dislodge. Even as the troopers turned sluggishly, Andor’s open blaster greeted them merrily, finally, and the snowy woods were painted with flashes of crimson light. by @toyrealms

I held off posting this one for a while because with the long lens and the way the vehicles were arranged in front of the lens, I thought it felt very awkward and confusing. Now, it’s grown on me and I feel interest in the way the fighters and walkers overlap, instead of frustration. Taken on a rainy day in a puddle on concrete. Generous amounts of fog spray were used to block the building in the background. TIE fighters were suspended using wire.Also had to pair this with a song from the score of ‘Project: Hail Mary’ because that movie is one of my new favorites. Anyone else love it? by @toyrealms

They hunched in a shallow trench, huddled together in an attempt shield themselves from the constant barrage of hot dirt and shrapnel that tore through the air. Vastly outnumbered, outgunned, the majority of their squadron already dead or bleeding out in the dirt, they hid, and slowly, inevitably the enemy approached.One of the troopers mumbled something softly. “Sorry, what’d ya say man?” asked the wounded trooper, adjusting his grip on the blood soaked bandage covering his upper thigh. The first trooper cleared the dust from his throat. “I asked how we’d all like to be remembered.” Three sets of eyes stared at him hauntingly. “Would be like to be remembered quietly down here? Or loudly up there.”“Yer crazy,” grunted the old veteran, “I ain’t listening to any more of this, we still have a chance to slip away.”“We’ll never make it, there’s no where to hide on this planet,” stated the fourth calmly. “It’s time we accept it, we’re dying either way. I agree with him, I’d rather go out with a bang.”Slowly, the realization of the inescapability of their situation settled over all of them. First fear, then resolution hardened in their eyes. They readied themselves, the wounded trooper watching them from his slumped position. Finally the old veteran grunted and bent to help lift him to his feet.“Just leave me, I can’t walk.”“Don’t matter, I’ll get ya to that E-Web up there, and then ya just have to stand there and rain hell on them fer long enough,” and with a great heave he pulled him over his shoulders. They looked towards the first trooper expectantly. He paused, feeling the weight of their gazes upon him. His hands trembled as he gripped his blaster, but when he spoke his voice was strong.“Upwards and onwards boys, towards death, towards honor…. Let’s take a few of them with us!”And with a shout they ran from the cover of the trench, shooting straight into the gates of oblivion. by @toyrealms

To Rex, it seemed the Jedi Council’s declaration that this mission was too dangerous, too risky, had only hardened Anakin’s will to prove them wrong. Personally, Rex was not one to question a difficult mission, sometimes he even relished it—he dove suddenly to the side, narrowly avoiding a missile that lodged into the soil thirty behind him and then detonated, knocking him and his men off their feet and forcing the air from his lungs. He gasped violently, painstakingly drawing air back into his desperately empty lungs, before staggering to his feet and shooting droid after droid from within the dust cloud that shrouded him—Or, Rex thought, at least he had used to relish it before the General’s taste in accomplishing a ‘risky’ mission had gone from brave and admirable to bordering on the recklessly impossible. His only comfort was that, if there was indeed a path to victory amongst the chaos that besieged them, him and his men were the most qualified legion to find it in all the Galaxy. #fcc_batbrothers by @toyrealms
