Happened across this little guy last weekend at Bombay hook. What a cutie! ——————————————————————-Now for some business, or the personal garbage I don’t like to have to post but I’m out of options. My stepmother, the original KAREN, is psychotic. Has been for my entire life. She’s managed to ruin every single major life event I’ve had. She’s caused me and my siblings to be ostracized from the family, all of my cousins and aunts and uncles I used to visit all of the time, that ended. Almost 40 years this has been going on. She has gone too far now though. My dad has Alzheimer’s , so he is unaware of what’s happening. But she took his phone and blocked all of our numbers so we can no longer call him. After the accident , where I lost my mom, my dad is all I have left and that psycho bitch is holding him hostage. So SHE is the cold hearted snake. Even that is too good for her though, snakes are useful. She’s a piece of garbage. Sorry for the rant. It’s for my family that might see this on Facebook. I want them all to know everything she’s done over the past 38 years. This is a start. by @tpax1407

Marsh wrens love to hide, despite their loud rattle-like call, i struggle to actually find that little brown bird. Well, on this particular day, the parent wrens showed herself with food in her beak, all of a sudden the baby showed up and feeding commenced. Of all of the bright colorful flowers, my hummingbirds really like this white one, it’s a White Wild Indigo that I planted in the meadow years ago, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it bloom though! I made the decision to take my hummingbird feeders down this year. They are hard to safely maintain in this heat. And my hummers prefer all of the flowers anyways. I know they can sit to eat at feeder, but I see them sitting and resting , I think they will be ok. Ok, is anyone else out there like me and save their best experiences for last? And then by that time you’ve already found some thing else that you can save for last and forget about the original one you were saving? If you also do this you will understand my gibberish there. Anyways, I’ve been saving these for a while. Sometime in June, I was at Bombay hook early and came upon this. This adorable new baby fawn nursing from mom. I watched for a while , no one else in sight, my own private audience. Sometimes the fawn would pound his head into mommas udder pretty violently! I could actually HEAR it!These are in random order, and I haven’t edited them at all, not even cropped! I was shooting through some ground plants, no way around the green glow at the bottom!
