First of all, even though the account name says “women,” we actually create the content together. Most of the detailed information and explanations in the comments usually come from him.

For those who don’t know us yet, I’m Buse and this is my boyfriend, Okan. 🤍

Today’s theme was actually more about my birthday than a travel route. But of course, there’s one place I wanted to mention.

Istiklal Street is one of the most popular spots for tourists in Istanbul, so I don’t really need to explain it. But before you actually enter Istiklal Street, have you ever noticed the huge building right in the square — the Atatürk Cultural Center?

Even if you don’t go into Istiklal Street, I’m sure you’ll come across one of the exhibitions inside the building. And if you go to the restaurant on the top floor (the entrance is separately located at the back), you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Istanbul.

If you’d like the restaurant details pls message me. I didn’t want to include them here because it would count as promotional content.

And speaking of the events here, you can also find all kinds of cultural events, from orchestras and operas to ballets and classical performances from different parts of Türkiye. Honestly, I really recommend adding this to your Istanbul trip.

İshak Pasha Palace, located in Doğubayazıt, Ağrı, is one of the most impressive historical landmarks in eastern #türkiye . Its construction began in 1685 under Çolak Abdi Pasha and was completed in 1784 by İshak Pasha. Combining Ottoman, Seljuk, Persian, and European architectural influences, the palace features beautifully decorated stone gates, a mosque, courtyards, a hammam, and many other sections. More than just a palace, it reflects the region’s rich cultural history and architectural heritage. In 2020, it was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage Tentative List.
