AOT was GRRRRRREAT

Two magically delicious days were spent down in Pollock with the Area Officer Crew! With sessions about promoting events, workshop creation, team management, and professionalism, all of our officers are ready to buzz into this year! We should have gone to PopPa’s!!!

What a wonderful way to spend my first retreat as a state officer! The Delhi Charter crew and I spend three days on Caney Lake learning about teamwork, communication, and remembering the reason we started serving. With four goofy pizzas, two nights of reflections, and one rough sunburn, I am leaving this retreat fulfilled and excited to keep this summer going!

State Officer Summit!!

LA FFA took on Washington D.C. this week at Summit! From touring the Capitol Building, advocating on Capitol Hill, seeing the Monument Mall, and meeting my State Officer friends from all over the US, this week was transformative! I had so much fun hanging out, learning how to properly advocate, and eating WAYY too much McDonalds! I loved keeping the motivation of the summer going. See y’all soon! ✈️🏛️🍦 taken in Washington D. Last but not least…. AREA THREE!! 🎉🎊

Coming into this camp knowing about five people was very nerve wracking, but it was so worth it. Every single person made me feel like I was back home again. I had so so so much fun chatting, walking around a random target, and cheering on THE RED TEAM!!!!! I cannot wait to see everyone at events in the future!!!

Oh, how good it feels to be home.

Area 1+2 Leadership Camp has always been my favorite part of the summer. Going to Woodworth, seeing my friends, and of course, running around during the scavenger hunt always makes me feel like I am finally where I belong. And while my role was a little different this year, nothing has really changed. Seeing my advisors, my advisor’s old advisor, my chapter, and even the groups I carpooled with to National’s just solidified how much of an impact this Area Camp has made on my life. We were SO HYPE and I LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!!! I cannot wait to see my Day 1s succeed this year!

LET’S HEAR IT FOR AREA IV! 🎉🎉

I’ve always heard that Area IV brings the energy, and let’s just say… THAT IS CORRECT! Going through the entire Journey to the Light this week has been an absolute blast! From meeting everyone, signing autographs, learning the Boots on the Ground dance, AND learning how to pop the fan (finally!), I had so much fun. Area IV, you made me feel at home, even though I live about 4 hours from you! It’s so great that we started off camp so excited and energetic! Areas I, II, and III, can we be MORE energetic and enthusiastic than Area IV?!?! 👀👀😝😝

P.S. thank you to Hunter for giving me an ASL sign name! don’t forget to ask me for my sign name, because I feel so cool now! 🤟🤟🤟

PRESIDENT SQUARED

This has been the most surreal week of my life. For seven days, I spent time down in the big ‘ole Alexandria. With two days of interviews, two days of competing, and about ten hours of sleep, this week was life-changing. My team and I got second in food science! I was elected as the 2026-2027 FFA State President!!!! I met a million people and made a bajillion memories in the process.

I am so honored to have been chosen as the State President. I vividly remember my first day walking down to the ag building. So many opportunities before me and I had no clue. I could have never imagined myself being changed so much by this organization. I am so excited for my year of service!
