It was worth the half marathon… but there were a few moments I had to get my head straight and remember to enjoy the pain and take in every place … if you go to Japan … don’t rush though everything.. take the extra few days in your travel and really enjoy it. We stayed 2 weeks and it wasn’t enough.

She doesn’t know it yet… but she is about to give birth to her son with Down Syndrome.

The doctors will tell her he won’t have much of a life. That he will most likely struggle with learning. That his life expectancy will be shorter.

She will struggle with wondering why this happened? She will think she did something wrong.

She doesn’t understand that all those horrible looks of people staring at him differently and feeling embarrassed, will go alway. It will he replaced.

She will know soon that he is different. And her beautiful baby boy has a unique ability NOT a disability.

His unique ability is, he doesn’t judge, doesn’t hate, doesn’t envy… He is pure love.

She doesn’t realize he will change the hearts of many and unite a family with his gentle soul and infectious smile.

And all the years she worries if she is doing enough for his future… worrying if he will be loved enough. She will soon learn…

The answer is - YES . Yes, beyond anything she could ever imagine.

Mommas out there.: you are good enough!! What you do everyday is incredible.

The scared mom who still questions- am I doing enough. by @traceydbaum

My background? I was a stay at home….
What I didn’t like about it? ….I lost who I was and I was doing favors for all my friends, I always had to ask for money.. and it made me feel like I wasn’t enough.
THEN…..Nu skin fell in my lap at a time in my life when I was praying for something to change my life.. it allowed me to start a business with no experience, no investment (except my product I wanted to try).

I was surprised to find it gave me confidence and I started feel like myself again AND I made money…
What excites me the most for the future, I get to show other women what’s possible with a company with the best leadership business model.
Day 1 of Eric Worre was just what I needed.

If I could show you a way to find something for you and your family.. would you look at it? by @traceydbaum

This weekend was so amazing. And these next 2 days will be incredible for our team.

There is something special about building something with people who accept you, make you better and want to make this world a better place.

I am free to show how much I love my savior.
More importantly- I am able to share my love for my savior with people I care about.

The Temple downtown is beautiful. I was moved to tears seeing this beautiful place, hearing the organs - I def felt the Holy Spirit. I am so grateful for my life.
And grateful I get to share with others what I am so passionate about.

Happy Nov 1st.

I started to make an extra $500 and needed more time with my family… I accidentally fell in love with the community… and now obsessed with helping others find financial security… and yessss it’s network marketing…because a 9-5 job would never allow me the choice to be with people who make me better, give me an opportunity to be a bad a$$ mom, loving wife and a person I love seeing in the mirror.

You want more time with your family? I did too… liste, I was told no too many times from my boss and I knew if I didn’t make changes those 18 summers would pass my by super fast.

I know this looks so cringe and embarrassing… but this cringe allows me to spend moments with all my kids, my husband! Best part…I get to do epic sh$t with epic people. So sis…I will be cringe all day long… and you should too. Started with an extra $500, now it’s my career!

There are a lot of things I love about having a side gig… my favorite…is watching people grow and become successful. Watching them become the best versions of themselves. I am so proud of @dawnmelanconmarks - she has hit 83% in subscription volume and has 15% MOM growth. She is a top leader in our organization and has never given up on her dreams and goals. She has ran a successful business as a salon owner for over 35 years. Dawn has 2 grandchildren and wants more leverage in her life to be with her family and create a business that doesn’t depend on her making money behind a chair … I am so proud of her success and the decision she has made to help our mission… to create 10,000 families be financially secure.
Congratulations Dawn for your success and thank you for believing in me!! The best is yet to come sis. by @traceydbaum

I wonder how many Michael costumes we will see this year for Halloween 🎃
Wonder if we should dress up as MJ?!!

8 years I ago I started a side gig to make a little extra money. I was about to go through a divorce and was a stay at home mom… I was so scared and had no idea what I was going to do … someone invited me to look at network marketing… and I said no. Not because I didn’t believe in it… but because I had failed before and was scared to fail again … but God knew it was where I neded to be. So I said yes and this time gave it my all… I had no idea that one decision would lead me to where I am today. HAPPY AND FULFILLED.

I have learned a lot along the way in having my own business- but the most important thing I learned is this ..TIME… it’s our biggest commodity… so I hope you are getting time with the people who mean the most to you.

You shouldn’t apologize for wanting more for you and your family. If it’s in your heart.. go for it.

Some days I’m tired in ways I don’t know how to explain.

It’s not the everyday things… it’s the thoughts that keep going long after the house is quiet.

I used to ask “will he be included?”
“Will people be kind?”
“What will a job look like for him?”
But the one that never leaves …”What will life look like for him when I’m no longer here?”

He has amazing siblings that I know will care for him… but as his mom… I worry. And maybe I am the helicopter mom who needs to let go a little.

What has my heart the most broken, is hearing conversations about whether a life with Down syndrome is a life worth living.

I look at my son and would never want to change who he is.
My son. With his own personality, feelings, opinions, and dreams. A whole person whose worth was never up for debate in our home.

I wish people could know him beyond a diagnosis. See our ordinary days. The laughter, the frustrating moments, the little things that become our favorite memories.

I won’t pretend every part is easy. Some parts are really hard. I can love being his mom and still get frustrated.I can be grateful for our life and still worry about his future.

But please don’t mistake my exhaustion for regret.

Most days I just carry on … but some days I’m exhausted because there is a lot to carry. I love him more than I could ever put into words. Being chosen to care for him I never take for granted.

This Down Syndrome Awareness Month, to every special needs momma… I see you.. you are amazing!! Never forget that.

Share with a momma you know could use your support and let her know how amazing she is 💙💛#downsyndrome #downsyndromeawarenessmonth by @traceydbaum
