And @woolbearers is joining the #comfortblanket party!!! My blanket has spent the summer quietly waiting in the wings. My rhinebeck sweater is blocking and still damp but my hands can’t remain idle while I wait to knit the button band. Myra dyes beautiful yarn and her shop is full of so many brands and much inspiration! Monday morning @turnstilecoffee @theprolificcrocheter and I crafted some pumpkins to decorate the coffee shop. Lara made some beautiful crocheted ones using the #grannypumpkinpattern from @crochetroad Mine were knit using #munchkinpumpkin from @the_sleepy_stitch in @malabrigoyarn Rios and the bonus pumpkin pattern @audacious.ewe included in her #pumpkinpatchbonnet pattern. Yarn is @lionbrandyarn And of course I’ve finished my crocheted basket in @monomeystudio 6mm cord using a pattern from Simona. Inspiration for it came of course from @lauriejknits Did I mention the cute pumpkin coaster gifted by Lara???? It wouldn’t be Monday without a @turnstilecoffee photo shoot! Since this was a mystery knit along I have been holding on to this reveal for a week! This is Tabby Road from @casapinka. I have to say, it’s kind of spectacular because I paired a great pattern with a stellar yarn! I used @chelseayarns merino fingering in Vintage Denim, a personal favorite, as my background color. I paired it with 10 minis from Christina’s 2021 Advent! Yes, I’ve joked that I have a curated collection of vintage #chelsealuxe and now you know it’s true! I generally don’t knit mysteries until after they have been revealed. I had the chance to start this to test the pattern a bit before the KAL started and I trust Bronwyn to not lead us astray! She mixed easy but interesting sections with more challenging patterning in colorful stripes. I took a little ride over to Wreck Pond in Sea Girt to see the goats!!!! The @seagirtconservancy is using goats from @green_goats_rhinebeck to control invasive plant species. The remaining goats are there until Sunday, along The Terrace, between 4th and 5th streets! Hey knitters!!!
