They say some battles are fought quietly… but this one was fought with courage, strength and the biggest little warrior I know.

After Drew's pacemaker replacement he had every reason to slow down. But he chose to keep moving forward.

Back to school.
Back to football.
Back to his activities.
Back to doing what he loves.

Not because it was easy… but because he refused to let it define him.

His little heart may have needed a little help, but his spirit? That has always been stronger than anything. ❤️

Watching you step back onto that field, Drew, is something I will never take for granted.

You are proof that warriors don't always wear armour. Sometimes they wear football boots, carry a school bag, and simply keep going.

They say when you turn the age of 40 something just clicks and you become the best version of yourself, choosing you not worrying about the bullsh$t and wanting peace and all that...

I don't think something clicks I think it takes about 38 to 40 years of life experiences to get to a point eventually at 40 where you have grown, experienced hurt, betrayal, heartache, growth, love, joy, pain, loss and wins and you're just a remoulded version where you know and are aware of what you need and want and won't tolerate.

I think it takes 40 years for that all to reshape you as an individual. Still room allowed for growth lessons and change but with experience and grace.

40 in scripture is also significant in many ways Moses, Noah, Goliath, and Jesus had 40 years and days of seasons of testing, transformation purification and preparation. by @traceyleem
