Let's do a little welcome post this Wednesday afternoon!
So hello, my name is Tracey, and I am from Southern Illinois! I have been married to my amazing husband for almost 12 years, and we have 3 ornery boys together. I've been a sahm since the fall of 2014, and let me tell ya, it's been a journey, BUT one I wouldn't trade for anything!

Here are 5 random things about me:
🖤I fell in high school and dislocated 3 bones in my hand, and now I'm dealing with arthritis at 34🫠
🖤I love to decorate and do all things with my creative brain
🖤I'm not a planner at all, and my husband is a complete opposite!!
🖤We are a board game family and try to play games with the boys all the time. Watch my stories for games we play!
🖤In college, I had a summer job with my younger sister and brother putting up grain bins💪

So that's a tiny bit about me, and I hope you love what I create and share on my page. It's a space where I can be myself and share what I love so thanks for being here❤️ by @traceylynnbower

Thought I should a "welcome" post since things are a little bit different around here!

So hello! My name is Tracey and I am a boy momma to 3 boys and I've been a sahm for almost 9 years now!
If you have been around my page for a while you know many things have come and gone, but the constants in my life have been my faith, my love for God, my family and sewing!

Following what God has called for you can be scary and exciting and I believe sewing/quilting is that for me. Last fall is when it all changed for me and what grew my faith to what it is today.

I truly believe this, because in the seasons that felt like a valley, this hobby brought me out of it. Yes I still have those hard days, but sewing for me calms my anxiety more than I ever thought it could.

Incorporting a wooden clapper into my ironing routine is a game changer!!

After you iron, lay the clapper down top and it gets to work soaking up the remaining moisture, keeping it flat while it cools so you get so you get crispy seems instead of puffy ones😍

To say today was amazing is an understatement.

I was able to go to Vocations Day with our St.Thomas 6th graders, along with 17 other Catholic schools! We attended mass, adoration and heard from religious Priests and Sisters.

And I got to meet Sister Mary Jo who I have been following for quite some time!! Her videos are so uplifting! She is definitely a bright light🤍 by @traceylynnbower

Could be a long shot, but let's go for it!

Been a while since I've posted here in my feed since I've been so busy with work and my boys school so why not try a test reel🤞

Also folding and organizing fabric has been one of my favorite projects in my sewing room this year!

Quilters Grove is at the Flea market today at the fairgrounds in Newton till 2!

It's a beautiful day and there is a BBQ competition going on so its smells delicious everywhere🤣 by @traceylynnbower

Can't believe its almost September and this is my first quilt reveal of the year!
If you've been here for awhile you know its been the year of the pillows for me so this was a fun change!
No pattern, just extra fabric from my mother-in-laws and Is stash!

3 years ago, this quilt was the pivotal moment in my sewing career(can I call it that?😊)

This quilt, which I gifted to my mother-in-law, was my very first quilt reveal on my page. The moment when I realized I wasn't posting makeup reels/posts anymore...I was posting about something that I truly have a passion for.
I was so nervous about what people would think, but the smile on my face says it all.
