Need a little reminder from time to time of how far I’ve come!

Think I’ll always be stuck between ‘well done’ and ‘need to work harder’

RADIO THERAPY DAY 15

My last active treatment day 😃 and I rang the bell 🛎 🌈

I don’t take for granted how lucky I am. Even with the shitty medication I need to stay on for 5 years and it’s crap side affects. Even with the internal bleeding and haematomas. Even after complications during surgery and complications causing delays during lab analysis. Even with side affects, pain and fatigue from radio therapy - I am so so lucky it was caught when it was and the amazing work the NHS, Ramsay Private Medical Health & The Christie do is not taken for granted.

Just a final check up in Jan to ensure I’m healing ok from Radiation and then I’ll be discharged back to my surgeon for annual check ups 💖💖💖

Thank you for all the kind messages.

Tracie 1, Cancer 0 - I win! 💪🏼

Ps: those who told me radiotherapy was a breeze you lied!! 🤣🤣 by @tracie_chooses
