It is with a broken heart that we share the passing of our beautiful boy. Alex gained his wings yesterday, Nov. 1st at 5:05pm on All Saints’ Day. He fought a courageous battle for 30 years with heart, lung, airway defects, Autism and more recently with severe GI struggles. Though his body was plagued by pain, his spirit and the love he had for his family never wavered. Every hurdle was met with strength, grace and resilience that inspired everyone who knew him. We are devastated beyond words, but we are grateful that he is finally resting in perfect peace alongside his beloved Grandma Nina. Thank you to everyone who has supported Alex and our family throughout his life journey. We truly believe your love and prayers carried him through the difficult days. We will update everyone on arrangements in the coming days. by @tracigreiff
Thank you to so much to a couple amazing Uncles for sharing a few moments with our boy during a Seahawks win! You’ve been an incredible source of comfort and inspiration since the day Alex was born. by @tracigreiff
My sweet Alex, Happy 30th birthday. Looking at you today, my heart is overflowing with a love that has no end. I am so proud of the man you grew into, the smile and genuine love you brought into every day, and every moment we have shared. You don't have to be strong today. You don't have to carry anything heavy. Just know how deeply you are loved, how much light you brought into my life. I am right here with you, every single step of the way, until your last breath and beyond. ❤️ Happy birthday, my strong boy. I love you more than words can say. by @tracigreiff

What is Sweetest Day? ❤️ From its inception as Candy Day in 1916, this day reminds us that even small tokens improve the lives of those around us. While the observance started with candy and sweets given to our sweethearts and friends, the day is full of lessons in persistence, resilience, and doing small things greatly. On Sweetest Day, take care of all those who need extra attention. Even those who need significant care, when given the smallest token, will feel the effects. A little treat, a card, a show of support during a time of need may be the sweetest gift on this day. by @tracigreiff
