It was such a honor to be a part of the @tahoetattooshow selling my art and sharing a space with @hannahfridholmceramics. It was a treat meeting such talented (and fun!) humans from all over the country.
🖤 Thank you to all of you who stopped by and supported us local artist, or just came over for a chat.

The respect I have for people who sew is on a whole other level!

I wanted to make masks that could fit over the N95 for my friends that are in the medical field to give them a bit more protection and could be washed. My best friend @heatherkhensler is a EMT for mono county, which got the idea in motion. I’ve sent one to @ceciliabreakingmyheart in Oregon, @ktpetey in Carson, @megcgrice in NY, and many others in town. @hannamagnificenthensler yours will be on the way soon!
I started with ribbon as ties for people who’d be wearing them for long periods of time, and now have started using elastic to loop around the ears. They have a pocket for a filter and wire in the nose for a better fit.
There’s been long hours of figuring out how to use my #cricutmaker and relearning the sewing machine.
I’ve caught my finger, burned myself with the iron, broken needles, tested my patience to the max, and used my seam ripper to the point it feels dull, but! It’s been quite a learning lesson, and it feels good to help out humans that are doing everything they can to help us out.
If you need one let me know, I’ve been asking for a donation in exchange for making mask to help with covering materials and time and shipping if needed.
Stay safe out there friends!❤️😷

I miss being covered with clay, so today I’m daydreaming about throwing on the wheel, making a huge mess and not having another care in the world. ☺️ I hope you can find your happy place today, wherever that may be🌻
