I am honored to be named the 2026 SCACA Girls Track & Field Coach of the Year.

This recognition reflects the commitment, sacrifice, and championship mindset of every athlete, assistant coach, parent, and supporter who has been part of our journey. Individual awards are earned through collective effort, and I am fortunate to work with a group that refuses to settle for anything less than excellence.

At Blythewood, our goal has never been simply to win championships it has been to build young women of character, discipline, and resilience. The trophies and titles are a byproduct of the standards our athletes choose to uphold every day.

Congratulations to all of the outstanding coaches across South Carolina who continue to elevate our sport. I am grateful for this honor and even more excited about what lies ahead. The question remains if #5 is next. Watch us and see, we’re always up for the challenge. 🏆🏆🏆🏆

Championships are earned through commitment, discipline, and belief. This honor reflects the incredible young women, coaches, and families who choose excellence every day. The standard is excellence in the classroom and on the field. The work continues. See y’all in 2027🥰. by @track_genius

Never forget where you come from! Four straight championships means this program has built a standard. Athletes come and go, but the expectation stays the same. It reflects consistency, preparation, and learning how to perform when it matters most.

We’ve learned how to work through discomfort, reload instead of rebuild, and trust the structure, leadership, and culture of the program. No one athlete is bigger than the team. Everybody has a role, and every point has to be earned.

We respect ALL of our competitors and stay focused on the details because nothing is promised and it makes us better. Dynasties don’t last forever, so we’re going to enjoy this moment, stay prepared, and keep chasing the goals we have together. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🫱🏾‍🫲🏿
