I like throwing at the black cloth because then I’m not worried about the distance and just focus on the cues I receive from my coach! I can’t wait to open up my season with javelin on Saturday

Transferring to OU was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, even though it didn’t end the way I had hoped.

Thank you, @coachjlangley —you’re truly one of a kind. Thank you, @coachebel , for helping me improve my shot put, even if the results didn’t show it this time. Thank you, @mgarlitz11 , for making those early morning lifts enjoyable. And thank you to the trainers for doing everything you could to help me through my injuries.

I’m grateful for all the people I’ve met along the way and for the incredible staff here at @ou_track . The relationships and memories I’ve made here will stay with me forever.

Dear Javelin, you share 2nd place with shot put!! Got some more confidence throwing and it feels goooood! Remember to hold right arm high, still, and relaxed!! Also, use your hips/glutes and quicken up your steps in the end basically like long jump😝
