The trackday was a huge success. The car is running the best it ever has since the swap and I managed to get it dialed in to be able to go lap for lap without looking out for issues. Oil temperatures are still a little high for my taste but nothing to be worried about. I beat my own time by 2.6 seconds! Great improvement and shows I finally got used to the handling and power.

Finally, the car is at a point where I can almost go lap after lap without issues. Now the limiting factor is me again. 😅
I desperately need more seat time to dial in my brake markers and gear selection.

Time to start working on the driver mod. 💪🏁

I’ve loved photography for a long time, but about five years ago I discovered analog photography. The imperfections, not knowing how the photos will turn out, taking the time to adjust the camera, choosing the right film for the right moment, and not needing to edit afterward. All of it makes every picture feel more valuable, unique, and memorable.

These are some shots of my K24-swapped Miata, taken on my Canon AE-1 Program using Fujifilm Superia Premium 400 film that I picked up in Japan last year.

Not a bad lap time at all… considering I missed 90% of my braking points and the racing line on most of the track 😂 Definitely need a lower seating position, better handling and shifting, cooler oil—and A LOT more driving practice!
