Race Recap Enduro National champs 2026 🇩🇪

Honestly, I came into this year’s German Championships with pretty low expectations.

I haven’t spent nearly as much time on the bike this year as I normally would. After racing Transmadera and just two other races, I decided to put more focus on other sports and simply wasn’t as prepared as I’ve been in previous years.

So finishing P9 at the German Championships? I’m absolutely stoked. I definitely didn’t expect that.

What made the weekend even better was being back around the whole German enduro community. Seeing all the people who make this sport what it is, racing together, hanging out and sharing the weekend was honestly one of my favourite parts. The event was incredibly well organised and the atmosphere was just awesome.

The race itself also had a new format. We raced 2 stages twice on both days, which isn’t really the usual Enduro format, but it made for a lot of racing and pushed the overall race time up

Going absolutely flat-out on these short stages is still something I struggle with. But looking back at the result, I’m really happy with the progress: last years result was bad, P11 two years ago, and now finally breaking into the Top 10 💪

The race was also extremely hard on the bikes, with quite a few mechanicals and DNFs throughout the field. I’m therefore even happier that I managed to stay consistent. Only one or two small riding mistakes and, most importantly, zero mechanical issues for me.

That’s also what Enduro is about: staying on it, making good decisions and getting through the whole weekend consistently.

Don‘t call it a comeback! 🤫

From P22 on day 1 to P12 at the end at German Championships! Seems I still got it in a way! Big win for me after 2 years of struggle with injuries!💪🏼
