There’s something so special about the little moments after a big milestone.

After closing on the house sale, my friend cut these beautiful flowers from her yard. Each one so unique, with its own color, shape, and personality—such a beautiful reminder of how much beauty surrounds us when we take the time to notice it.

Then came homemade banana muffins and chocolate chip cookies, enjoyed with a cup of coffee while we sat at the table, chatted, and took in the moment.

The house sale may have been the reason we were together, but these are the moments that make the journey so memorable.

🍎🥞 Apple Pie Pancakes for dinner tonight!

I had some applesauce and decided to get creative with it. I made pancakes with applesauce, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, then topped them with warm cinnamon apples.

The result? A warm, delicious meal that tasted like fall in every bite.

I love being able to take simple ingredients, use a little creativity and turn them into something special.

There is always something good we can create with what we have.

🍎🍂Another beautiful day at Blakes Cider Mill!🍂🍎

We continued one of our favorite yearly traditions with wonderful friends and absolutely fabulous weather.

We took a very short hayride 😂, enjoyed picking fresh fruit, and of course had all the fall favorites—cider, donuts, pears, Italian sausage and corn on the cob.

Jason built a bonfire 🔥, which made the perfect spot to warm up.

There’s something special about returning to the same place year after year, enjoying the simple things, good company, fresh air and the flavors of the season.

Another tradition in the books… and another beautiful day to InJoy.

🏒❤️ Cousins Night + Red Wings Opening Night! ❤️🏒

Nothing like a night out in Detroit with family, good food, and hockey! 🍝🍷

Before heading to the game, we found this hidden gem in downtown Detroit serving up some seriously delicious Italian food. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better company!

Then it was off to opening night to cheer on the Detroit Red Wings! 🏒🔥

Cousins, laughter, Italian food, and Red Wings hockey… now THAT’S a Detroit night! ❤️

Life is going to get tough. There will be moments when you feel like you’ve been pushed to your limit, when the path ahead isn’t clear, and when giving up seems easier than taking one more step.

But sometimes, you don’t need to run from what’s in front of you.

Stand in it. Face it. Feel it. Then move through it.

You are capable of handling more than you realize. The obstacle may be uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to define you. Every challenge you face can teach you something, strengthen you, and remind you just how resilient you really are.

They say we eat with our eyes first… and I believe it.

Before the first bite, there’s the color.
The textures.
The freshness.
The way everything comes together on the plate.

That first impression is part of the experience—the beauty of the food before the flavor even has a chance to speak.

And then… comes the flavor. 😋

I created this salad with a little intention, a little creativity, and a whole lot of color. Because healthy food doesn’t have to be boring—it can be beautiful, vibrant, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

Home this morning… and somehow, it felt like I was having coffee with My DaddyO. ❤️☕️

I miss him deeply on this earthly plane, but I know he is in a better place. So I sat in the back room, letting the sunshine glisten down on me, and made my coffee just the way I wanted it—with a little sweet cream, some raw sugar, and espresso.

For a moment, everything was still.
