Celestial Balance 24”x24” SOLD Throughout history humans have created myths, constellations, and stories to make sense of the vast, mysterious universe above us. Here, whimsical celestial figures come together to continue that timeless cosmic balancing act.

Pegasus, the Archer, the lion, the cow jumping over the moon and the cherub assisting him are antique toys. The planets are vintage marbles and hand painted wooden balls. The man holding the moon is from an old trophy. The vintage scale base is made from an old trumpet. The background are pages from an astronomy book. This piece is framed under glass in a black 2.5” wide hand-milled pine frame.

Life’s Musical Chairs 24” x 16.5” this piece explores the unpredictable rhythm of life through the familiar game of musical chairs. The four chairs represents different stages and circumstances we encounter along the way: success, peace, love, and feeling lucky. But like the game of musical chairs, we can never assume that the chair beneath us will always be there. Ultimately this piece is a reminder to appreciate where you are, but never get so comfortable you stop listening to the music. Made with piano keys, vintage, dollhouse chairs, an old record, pillars, musical instruments, pocket watch faces, a vintage ruler for the floor, sheet music, and a time chart from an old Atlas. The chairs are adorned with vintage charms: the chair of success has a lion wearing a crown, the chair of peace has two birds flying, the chair of love has a silver heart locket, and the chair of luck has a horseshoe and four leaf clover with a spring catapulting it into the air. Looks simple enough at the start. But it took another 20 hours of cutting, sharpening, trimming, gluing, sanding, and measuring and remeasuring and remeasuring, then repeating the process all over again until it’s perfect. Sea Mail 24” x 24” SOLD This piece is a meditation on communication, exploration, and human connection. Like messages in a bottle cast into the sea, we never fully know what direction our words will travel, how far they will reach or whose life they may ultimately touch. Made with old bottles containing original handwritten entries from antique journals and notebooks. The corks are wrapped with vintage postage stamps. The antique brass calipers have ink pen nibs on each point. The shell holds the vintage porcelain “postmaster” figurine standing on an old inkwell who guides the Sea Mail. He holds a small compass on one side and a large compass hand on the other. The shell has a crown of ink nibs. The background has vintage maps and original pages with positive affirmations taken from an old handwriting instruction manual. This piece is framed under glass in hand milled, black pine frame. The Emperor Has No Clothes 9.5” x 13” SOLD This piece reminds us that beneath the layers we wear -status, style, ego, identity- we are all the same. The scattered buttons and fallen crown in the pile symbolize the absence of clothes and the false modesty we sometimes use to present ourselves to the world. What’s left is truth: raw, exposed, and impossible to hide. Sometimes the hardest thing is seeing things as they really are.

Time Flies no. 2 21” x 28” No, you did not see this piece already. Sometimes if I have more to say, I will re-create a piece but is still one of a kind and unique to the other. In Time Flies no.2 I created a nest inside a clock face holding eggs, signifying life‘s beginnings. One egg has hatched, revealing tiny clock parts, and a watch face – a reminder that from the moment life begins, time is already in motion. Tree branches, dotted with clock hands like newly emerging leaves signify that time isn’t separate from nature – it grows changes and move forward, just as the seasons do. This piece is made with original acrylic painting of sky and clouds, found tree branches, eggs, clocks hands, clock face, bird nest, watch face and watch parts coming out of the broken egg. The Dreaming Hours 31” x 18.5” x 1.5” SOLD At the stroke of midnight, the rope tethering the bed to reality are cut, releasing it into the dreaming hours where logic, gravity, and time no longer hold control. Lifted toward the door marked Dreams, the bed drifts through a moonlit sky of constellations symbolizing the magical moment when sleep frees the mind to wander beyond the waking world. Made with a vintage National Geographic moon chart, star maps, balloons, a bed, hands popping from a box on springs snipping the rope attached to the bed with a jeweled pair of scissors, vintage clock, watch faces and stars made from vintage rhinestones which twinkle like stars when any light source reflects off of them. Resilience 16.5” x 22.5 x 1.5” Resilience honors the courage and patience it takes to mend rather than discard and come back to the table of life. It acknowledges that the repaired object is never the same as it once was – but it is still whole in a new way. And perhaps more importantly, it suggests that there is dignity, even beauty, and choosing to sit down again, surrounded by imperfect pieces and continue the act of living. But that doesn’t mean you won’t stop tossing plates and silverware from time to time.
