Are there any other Project Runway fans out there? In tonight’s episode @heidiklum and @csiriano brought back designers from last season to have a contest between the current cast and last season’s cast. Among the designers from last season are twins Antonio and Jesus Estrada. Someone referred to them as Thing 1 and Thing 2. It made me laugh especially when one of this season’s contestants look like he’d fit right in when them as Thing 3! They all look so alike! by @tracynorthg

Well, I’m on my way home. I ended up not doing anything yesterday other than attend the taping of Kelly and Mark’s After the Oscars show. That took more than 6 hours which started at 1 am Monday morning. I grabbed breakfast at Max and Helen’s Diner near Paramount. I had a waffle that was really good! Max and Helen’s is owned by Phil Rosenthal who was the producer of Everybody Loves Raymond. Then I went back to the room and fell into bed for pretty much the rest of the day. This morning, I went over to Sony Pictures and watched them tape 3 episodes of Jeopardy! that’ll air in May. It was pretty exciting. I watched the crowning and the defeat of a 10 day super champion! by @tracynorthg

I’m in LA for a couple of days. I’m here because I scored tickets to the after Oscars show of Kelly and Mark that will tape tomorrow at 6 am LA time to be aired live in NYC. I have to be there no later than 4 am but check in actually starts at 1 am! I’m in the queue for tomorrow’s Jimmy Kimmel live but I don’t know yet if I’ll get in for that. If I don’t I’m going to go to the Academy Museum instead. On Tuesday I’m going to watch them shoot a couple of episodes of Jeopardy! I’m really excited for that. Once my stay there is done I’m hitting the road for home. I started my stay with Tito’s Tacos and this morning I went to Voodoo Doughnuts in Venice. Yum! by @tracynorthg

The little girl in this picture is the primary reason I’m in Alaska right now. Four years ago I was supposed to babysit her big sister when her parents went to the hospital to deliver her. Fate had something different in mind. When I showed up at their house four years ago today mom was in hard labor. It was too late to head to the hospital for the delivery. Ten minutes after I got there this little one made her first appearance. I was just getting ready to step in to grab her when mom’s instincts kicked in and she reached down and pulled her out! That was the first and only time, so far, that I attended a birth. I haven’t missed a birthday with her since which is why we’re in Alaska today. Happy birthday, Elsie! by @tracynorthg

IT’S SNOWING! It’s supposed to snow all day today and all day tomorrow. I hope we’re able to get out on Thursday but I’ll worry about that later. For right now? It’s snowing! by @tracynorthg

I am currently in Eagle River, Alaska, near Anchorage, visiting my dear friends the Blotters. Yesterday morning we heard about a moose sighting in the neighborhood so we took off to find him. Imagine me in my nightshirt, robe and Sketchers with temp below 10! Anyway, we found him! My first wild moose sighting! Last night we went snow tubing. I only lasted two runs but the Blotters lasted the whole hour and a half. As we reached the car afterwards I slipped and fell flat on my back. I didn’t hit my head, though. That’s what I was most worried about. This morning I’m a little stiff but not much more than I usually am. Here are some photos and videos from the moose hunt and tubing. by @tracynorthg

Today would have been my dad’s 89th birthday. He was only 55 when he passed away making this his 34th heavenly birthday. It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around this. That he’s been gone that long. I miss him everyday and would give anything to have another conversation with him. Happy birthday, Daddy! I miss you! by @tracynorthg
