Day in the life of Echo Prints! 💁‍♀️🌿Dolly has been on repeat in my head, so thought 9-5 apropos! ♥️♥️♥️A little reprint of some muted pieces, to yield a more vibrant color scheme, and a new series-CAN IT ECHO PRINT? Otherwise known as “WOW!”😲or “Woe.” 😏#canitechoprint #echoprints
More in my stories:) What do you think of the bright prints at the end, compared w the muted ones at the beginning? There’s no wrong answer! It’s just my preference to have more color! 💁‍♀️🌿🌸 by @tracyrborn

Another week of Read Anything Book Club & making memories with my neighborhood friends! It threatened to rain on our parade again, but my young neighbor across the alley came by to help me move all the chairs under our small gazebo tent, and take the table OUT. We JUST fit three moms, eleven children, and me, under there! 😄 I took a photo of most of the books that were discussed this week…and a new nature journal that was proudly shown to us:) I love hearing the children talk about what they enjoyed about the books they read, or are currently reading! I’m really enjoying Magpie Murders-I was in the mood for a good mystery this week.🫆🕵️ I have been half listening to it (it’s free!) on Hoopla, and half reading it with my eyeballs. That’s my favorite way to read more than I can if it’s only a paper book. Go halfsies!!! 👌😁 Last week I really enjoyed Once Upon a Wardrobe, by Patti Callahan. ♥️What have you been reading this summer? I’d love to hear in the comments! 📚📖♥️#readabythingbookclub #summerreading #havesnackstheywillcome 🤭 by @tracyrborn

The Read Anything Book Club is back in full swing every Tuesday in my backyard! 😊 Some weeks there’s only a few of us, and other weeks we’re a full house! It’s pretty simple, everyone brings something they’ve been reading and tells a little about it (or shows a favorite picture in a picture book:) and then they tell us if they give it 1 👍(like it) , 2 👍👍 (love it!) or even a 👎(boo! None of these yet;) I do get a kick out of the 6 1/2 👍😮) We have a little snack on the table, bcs food is always a good idea, and we go around in a circle. (The grown ups go last, bcs we lose the little people talking about our grown up books;) After book club the kids play, moms talk, and my library is open for the borrowing! 📚📚📚😊
Without further ado, The Read Anything Book Club Recommends:
The Adventures of Tin Tin:
👍👍
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child 👍
The Boxcar Children 1 1/2;)
👍🫰
The Secret Garden 👍👍
Ella Bella Ballerina & A Midsummer Night’s Dream
👍👍
Pappy’s Hankerchief (6 1/2;) 👍👍👍👍👍👍🫰
Should I Share My Ice Cream? 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🫰
Man of The Family: 👍👍👍👍👍
Go Dog Go! 👍
Watch Me Throw The Ball!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Silmarillan (Tolkien)👍👍(“Although it tests your attention span…”;)
Treasure Island 👍👍
In the Heart of the Rockies (Henty) 👍👍
The Pig Has to go to School 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🫰😂
Goldilocks and the Three Bears, 👍👍
Stargirl 👍👍
The Kitten Who Thought He Was a Mouse 👍👍
Project Hail Mary 👍👍
The Hiding Place 👍👍
The Spark of the Ever Flame
👍👍

My attempt at an Echo Print commercial for bridal bouquets went slightly sideways today! 😂 After quite a few failed attempts, Lillie let the camera roll…and we decided to keep it, thunder and tears and all! ⛈️ I began to feel like the I Love Lucy Vitametavegamin commercial.🤣 For all yer bridal bouquet needs, I’m yer gurl…🥹💁‍♀️💐🖼️ But seriously-I am! Pittsburgh folks, I’d LOVE to talk to you about preserving your bridal arrangements in Echo Print form.💗💐#echoprint #commercialgonewrong #preservingbridalbouquets #pittsburghbrides #pittsburghfloralpreservation taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by @tracyrborn

Hi nature lovers! 🌿 I’m excited to tell you that my Echo Print cards are now available at @aswpnaturestore at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve! 🌿I’ve done a new collection of invasive and native species, especially for the store, and I hope you’ll pop in and check them out! ♥️ It’s such a GORGEOUS shop and the reserve is one of my favorite places to walk in nature…always something new to see. Today, the geese popping their black heads up over the the tall grasses near the pond, were a surprise to me! There was a nature camp going on, and I wished I was a part of it…☺️Local friends, do visit! #beechwoodfarmsnaturereserve #audubonsocietyofwesternpennsylvania #echoprint #botanicalprints by @tracyrborn

Today was my last day as a crossing guard, and my wonderful daughter @lillie.desailes helped me commemorate it with this little video…all 100% true! 🤭🛑✋ In all seriousness, though, I sure am gonna miss all the kids, and aspects of this job. When I began this job back in September of ‘24, I didn’t know it would be a place where I would begin memorizing Psalms. But with my first post, I had a couple of very quiet hours each day and I had to have something to keep my brain busy! As it turned out, those 17 Psalms have been a lifeline during some challenging times over the past couple of years. God is so faithful!
My most recent post has been HUGELY different and very busy, crossing over 300 children in an hour…but those Psalms still played in the background and I pecked away more slowly. I intend to keep them and add more.
And…Bruno Mars also played in the background some afternoons! 😂💃
I have gotten used to seeing the same people at the same time each day, and have learned so many names…I’ll miss their sweet faces!
Okay-that’s all for now, but I did cry my last few minutes 🛑 in the middle of the crosswalk, when a graduated senior from my first year came by! Crazy how many memories I now have while standing on a sidewalk.♥️Who knows? Maybe I’ll take it up again in a few years;) xo Tracy #crossingguard by @tracyrborn

Explaining how I make Echo Prints takes a whole lot of words~so I thought I’d show you the process in short video! (Thanks @lillie.desailes for your help in making it:) Sometimes I add a couple of different tweaks but this is the basic process, and it takes two days from start to finish, to complete a set of cards. Hope you enjoy watching! ~ 🌸Tracy

It’s a gorgeous day for Echo Prints! The new born cards are drying in the sweet spring breeze…Johnny Jump Ups, Painted Lady ferns, DANDELIONS (they were a beautiful surprise!), daffodils, wild strawberry leaves, columbine and parsley…be still my heart! 🌼🌿🌱 I am getting ready for the events that I have coming soon. 😊I will be at the Pittsburgh Botanical Garden Artisan Market and Plant Sale on May 3, the Sweetwater Blooms flower and artisan market in Sewickley on May 10, and the Audubon Society at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve Eco-Market on May 23! (And that’s just MAY! More coming all summer long…🌿💐🌺) I hope to see you there! #pittsburghbotanicgarden #sweetwaterbloomsmarket #beechwoodfarmsnaturereserve #echoprint #botanicalprint by @tracyrborn
