Lucy Hale (@lucyhale) found herself, and embraced her good-witchy style, in her Los Angeles sanctuary. After years of healing, heartbreak, and hard-won self-discovery, the “Pretty Little Liars” actor worked with Marie Trohman (@marie.trohman) and Ashley Drost (@ash_taggg) of @proem_studio to transform her 1940s Spanish-style house into a personal reflection of the woman she is today.

For AD’s digital cover, Hale opens the doors to the romantic and edgy home that has evolved alongside her.

When the show Laguna Beach was one of the first big things in reality TV, I had a fun lunch date with the very charming breakout star @kristincavallari who spilled the beans to this naive viewer that the storylines and drama were often created by the producers! And they told them who they’d be dating that season on the show! I was aghast that it wasn’t actually “reality,” lol! How fun to get to book Kristin, and her beautiful Nashville home, all these years later for @archdigest and Open Door. She’s just as darling as she was back then. by @tracyshaffer

Once upon a time, I was lucky enough to work at Cosmopolitan with these wonderful people and forever friends @johnsearles @michprom @janebuckingham (and special mention to our dear @katewhite_author and @jenkasle also pictured!). Oh the crazy stories from those days (and even crazier cover lines)!! So it was my absolute delight to bring the gang back together and cohost a celebration for John’s upcoming novel, and soon to be summer’s smash bestseller, SINGLE GIRLS! To get to share him and some of our Cosmo memories with my own fabulous book club ladies was icing on the cake. Can’t wait to read it! I once chatted with @kateupton at the hair salon and she gave me advice on what to feed my finicky dog, and my dog and I have loved her ever since. How fun to then get to feature Kate and @justinverlander ‘s gorgeous NYC pad in AD! Many thanks to the wonderfully charming @rebeccataylorrt for making it happen. It was worth the wait!
