My girl since the 198 days (19 years ago!) @maggierempe got married, and she looked so beautiful with Ben and her little Marty from temple to the Des Moines Art Center, and yowww I cried before-during-after because I love this fam so much, but also what a Horah and what unbelievable Korean braised beef, and I will think about @younghwirempe in her gorgeous hanbok and Marty in his Lord Fauntleroy getup and Ben raising the veil over my friend who is my sister on their wedding day forever. Love you @maggierempe ❤️. What a happy day 🥲 by @tracysoneill

Unimaginable to have spent weeks this summer writing at @civitellaranieri. I’m now an Umbria fan and a castle fan, but mostly I’m a fan of all these geniuses with whom I had the good fortune to take night strolls, eat charcoal bread, talk art. 🖤 by @tracysoneill

36 hours in LA: K-Town food, celebrating The Black List & @_rwinstonsworld, talking shop at AWP, talking EVERYTHING with @rebeccazoeleigh, weird signage, letting the chef choose, tacos nine times a day, sleep: nope. by @tracysoneill

Logging out of 2024 in the glow of a year of first crab, first Christmas tree, the incredible crew that brought WOMAN OF INTEREST into the world, getting a @maggierempe visit with tahini-coffee slushies, weird Tennessee dessert, an absolute dream review from one of my favorite writers @__patrickc0ttrell, getting to make a duck-bunny scarf in support of domestic violence intervention, dat cake, hiking down by Sewanee with @my19thcentury & @emily_a_adrian, girls wanting to have and having fun, some transcendent moments at The Garden by @aliemirtapan, becoming a @stasmay marathon superfan, museuming with @kellysajda, some twinkle from @wheresnadia, a wonderful night with @tables.of.contents, beautiful Accord, unexpected rabbit sightings with @marie.helenebertino & Yuka, seeing the powers of @amandaleibull at the Portland Book Festival, & becoming someone who makes pie. Love to everyone who made 2024 a year of too many gorgeous moments to fit in one little carousel. 🖤 by @tracysoneill

Sometimes in 2024 I felt at risk of dying of book promo embarrassment, but I’m awfully grateful that WOMAN OF INTEREST made some end of year lists by Electric Literature, Esquire, The New Yorker, Crime Reads, & The Buzzed Word. Thanks to the @harperonebooks & @thegernertco team @rakeshsatyal @we_were_here @alymostel @lucileculver_ @theryanamato & Louise for taking the ride with me.🖤 by @tracysoneill
