Jeremy Scott didn’t design shoes to fit in.

He took things that looked impossible, ridiculous, or completely out of place and turned them into some of the most recognizable pieces in fashion.

From giant wings to cartoon-inspired silhouettes, Scott made clothing feel like you’re in a video game and somehow made people want to wear it.

This is the story of how Jeremy Scott changed what a fashion shoe could be.

Fashion has reached a point where independent designers are creating pieces that most luxury brands wouldn’t dare put into production.

Calechie has been gaining attention online for hybrid footwear and garments that merge archive references, luxury fashion and unexpected materials into entirely new silhouettes.

Dior Saddle Bag-inspired heels. Carhartt cargo-pocket boots. Hand-carved Louis Vuitton sandals. Melissa Speed-inspired heels. Gucci garments made from leftover monogram canvas.

While most custom designers focus on modifying existing products, Calechie takes a different approach—breaking familiar designs apart and rebuilding them into something completely new.

What makes the work stand out isn’t just the craftsmanship. It’s the imagination behind the references, and the ability to turn unlikely combinations into designs that feel entirely his own.

Would you wear any of these?

There was a point where an MCM backpack felt like the ultimate flex.

If you were into sneakers, streetwear, or rap culture during the early 2010s, you know exactly what we’re talking about.

The backpack was everywhere. School hallways, sneaker events, music videos, Instagram feeds. For a few years, MCM become one of the most recognizable accessories in fashion.

What made them stand out was how unapologetically loud they were. Bright colourways, oversized monograms, gold hardware and studs covering almost every inch of the bag.

Looking back, they’re one of the few accessories that instantly transport you back to a specific moment in time.

The MCM backpack wasn’t just part of the early 2010s. It was the early 2010s.

Did you own one? Is it time for an MCM comeback?

Pokémon just revealed the first wave of its 30th Anniversary Pikachu cards — and they might be some of the most collectible Pikachu ever printed.

For the upcoming 30th Celebration set, every booster pack will contain a Pikachu. Not a promo. Not a bonus insert.

A Pikachu is literally guaranteed in every pack. The catch? There are 30 different Pikachu cards to collect, each illustrated by a different artist and marked with its own 01/30–30/30 numbering.

The standout reveal so far is 01/30, illustrated by Pokémon’s original artist Ken Sugimori. The artwork intentionally brings back the iconic chunky Pikachu that appeared throughout the franchise’s early years.

Other revealed artists include fan favorites like sowsow, Shinji Kanda, Akira Komayama, Yuu Nishida, Atsuko Nishida, and Shimaris Yukichi, with 10 cards still waiting to be unveiled.

What’s making collectors pay attention isn’t just Pikachu. It’s the artists.

For the first time, Pokémon has turned its mascot into a 30-card art collection where every illustration tells a completely different story. And we still haven’t seen them all.

Which revealed Pikachu is taking the top spot in your binder? ⚡

Consider this your sign to make something your 10-year-old self would be obsessed with.

Remember those stickers you loved so much you couldn’t bring yourself to use?

The glittery Barbies, whimsical pink Hello Kittys, and Bratz stickers that somehow ended up covering everything you owned.

The ones that stayed tucked inside sticker books because peeling them off felt like too much of a commitment.

Poster Girl co-founder Natasha Somerville turned that feeling into a one-of-one dress, applying 250 childhood stickers onto latex using a technique she developed herself.

Looking at this immediately takes me back to spending way too long in stationery stores deciding which stickers were worthy enough to come home with me.

The girls who get it, get it.

A fresh sticker sheet, a new notebook, and absolutely no intention of ever using the “good” ones.

Now excuse me while I convince myself that covering a handbag in childhood stickers is a perfectly reasonable DIY project.

From $165 to $1,005 in just over a month.

This SpongeBob Gold Refractor /50 sold for $165.50 on July 14. Just over a month later, another copy of the exact same card sold for $1,005.

That’s a 507% jump in roughly 35 days.

While this is a Gold Refractor limited to just 50 copies, it’s another reminder of how powerful nostalgia can be in the collectibles market.

We’ve seen it before with Pokémon, Disney, and Marvel. As collectors look back on the franchises they grew up with, rare Nickelodeon and SpongeBob cards are starting to attract serious attention of their own.

Are we looking at a short-term hype cycle, or is SpongeBob becoming the next major nostalgia-driven collectible market? 👀

Could a doll have better style than most people?

That’s exactly why fashion lovers have become obsessed with the work of ciseonikmomoko.

Rather than simply making miniature clothes, the artist reimagines real fashion through Momoko dolls, transforming each one into what feels like a tiny runway editorial. Inspired by designer collections, archival fashion, and pop culture, every look is carefully styled with the same attention to silhouette, layering, proportions, textures, and accessories you’d expect from a luxury campaign.

What makes the work so compelling isn’t just the craftsmanship. It’s the styling. These aren’t costumes made for dolls. They’re thoughtfully constructed fashion looks that just happen to fit a 27cm muse. Some outfits feel bolder and more imaginative than what we see on actual runways today.

Originally created for fashion-conscious collectors, Momoko dolls have long been appreciated as a canvas for personal style.

Artists like Ciseonik Doll are pushing that idea even further, proving that fashion doesn’t need a human body to tell a story.

Sometimes, the most inspiring wardrobe isn’t hanging in someone’s closet.

It’s worn by a doll.

Would you style a Momoko doll if you had one?
