Hi, I’m Jenny 👋🏻

Owner of @trademarksflowerfarm in New York State, and I’m also a new mom.

I started flower farming 8 years ago in the hopes I could build a farm that was profitable, sustainable, simple, and fulfilling in every way possible.

So many people told me it wasn’t possible, but I found a way…and I know lots of others who have done this, too.

Now o teach beginning farmers how to make money, have work-life balance, and grow the business of their dreams.

Follow me for more flower farm business inspiration, tips, and information.

I’m always trying to find easier ways to do things on the farm, and this method of using mustard as a bio-fumigant in our soil (and as a way to add organic matter) has been one of the best.

All I do is seed mustard in mid August, wait until they flower, mow them down with a flail mower, immediately water (we use overhead wobblers from @neversinkfarmtools), and then cover with a tarp. There’s a lot of cool research from @cornelluniversity about this.

We’ll leave the house shut up like this until it’s time to prep for planting in spring. by @trademarkfarmer

Before you order another seed, add another crop, or decide you need to grow 30% more flowers next year…look backward first. 👀

Your last season gave you SO much information about what your business needs next.

Look at your sales.
Look at what sold out and what didn’t.
Look at where you spent your time.
Look at the crops you couldn’t keep in stock—and the ones you were practically begging people to buy.

And don’t just ask, “What should I grow next year?”

Ask:
What should I grow LESS of?
What should I stop doing altogether?
What deserves MORE of my time, space or attention?

Because making next year better doesn’t necessarily mean adding more.

Sometimes the biggest improvements come from doing less of what didn’t work and more of what did.

Give yourself an hour, pull out your sales numbers + a notebook, and answer these questions before you start planning next season. 🌸

You get a new wedding flower inquiry in your inbox. 🙌
⁣
You take the time to answer their questions, put together your pricing information, and send off a thoughtful response.
⁣
And then... crickets. 🦗
⁣
No reply. No booking. Nothing.
⁣
Sound familiar?
⁣
I’ve worked with several flower farmers recently who were struggling with this exact problem. And here’s what I want you to know:
⁣
You might not be losing those customers because your flowers are too expensive or your designs aren’t good enough.
⁣
You might just be responding too slowly.
⁣
Think about it. When someone is planning a wedding or event, they’re probably reaching out to several florists at once. They’re excited, they’re motivated, and they’re ready to make a decision.
⁣
But if you wait a day or two to respond because you’re busy harvesting, planting, or running your farm, someone else might have already picked up the phone.
⁣
And sometimes, that’s all it takes to lose the sale.
⁣
The good news? This is something you can fix without growing another stem or spending more money on marketing.
⁣
A quick phone call, a personal conversation, and a simple follow-up system can make a HUGE difference in how many inquiries turn into paying customers.
⁣
And no, this isn’t about being pushy or using sleazy sales tactics. It’s about making your customers feel heard, helping them make decisions, and making it EASY to buy from you.
⁣
Because sometimes, growing a more profitable flower farm isn’t about finding more customers. It’s about doing a better job serving the ones who are already interested. 🌸
⁣
🎧 In Episode 125 of the Six Figure Flower Farming Podcast, I’m walking you through my simple 3-step system to stop getting ghosted, book more flower sales, and improve your customer experience.

⁣
You don’t need to be a “numbers person” to run a profitable flower farm.
⁣
But you DO need to know enough about your numbers to stop guessing. 👀
⁣
I love how Teresa described the difference after SFFF:
“My business strategy went from chaos to focus.”
⁣
And even better:
“Not only is my business focused, but I’m actually making money.”
⁣
If you’re ready to understand what’s actually happening behind the numbers in YOUR flower farm, come join us. 🌸
⁣
Enrollment closes TONIGHT, Thursday, October 22.

You probably don’t need to grow more flowers or work more hours to make more money.

You DO need to build a flower farm that pays you well - without taking over your entire life.

Get paid what you deserve, get your time back, and build a customer base that supports the life you actually want.

More ideas aren’t always what your flower farm needs.
⁣
Another crop. Another product. Another sales outlet. Another marketing idea.
⁣
Sometimes what you actually need is a way to figure out what’s working, what’s NOT, and what deserves your limited time + attention.
⁣
That’s what I love so much about Amanda (from @pineygroveflowerfarm )’s story.
⁣
She went from feeling like she was trying “anything and everything” with no real way to measure whether it was working...
⁣
to knowing what actually moves the needle in her business—and how to evaluate what’s profitable and what isn’t. 🌸
⁣
That’s the work we do inside Six-Figure Flower Farming.
⁣
If you’ve spent at least one season growing + selling flowers and you’re ready to stop guessing about the business behind them, come join us.

This is just ONE simple example of the kinds of things we look at inside Six-Figure Flower Farming.
⁣
Because sometimes the difference between an unprofitable flower farm and a profitable one isn’t some massive change.
⁣
It’s dozens of decisions like this.
⁣
What are you growing? How much are you growing? How long does it take you to turn those flowers into a sellable product? What are you charging? Where are you selling them? What are you spending your time on? And are all of those decisions actually making you money?
⁣
These are the kinds of decisions that helped us build a multiple-six-figure flower farm on a relatively small scale.
⁣
And the answer is going to look different for every flower farm.
⁣
That’s why inside Six-Figure Flower Farming, we spend six weeks looking at YOUR business - your numbers, your crops + products, your efficiency, your marketing and your sales - to figure out what’s working, what’s costing you time or money, and what you should focus on next.
⁣
This isn’t another program teaching you how to grow prettier flowers.
⁣
It’s about learning how to build a flower farm that actually works as a business.
⁣
🌸 Six-Figure Flower Farming is open for enrollment now (through Thursday, October 22nd).
⁣
If you’ve already spent at least a season growing + selling flowers and you’re ready to build a more profitable, efficient business, comment ENROLL and I’ll send you all the details.

I don’t think you started a flower farm because you wanted to spend every waking hour feeling behind. 😂

But it can get there REALLY quickly.

There is always another bed to weed. Another bucket to harvest. Another email to answer. Another market to prep for. Another thing you should be doing to grow the business.

And eventually, being incredibly busy can start to feel like the same thing as making progress.

But they’re not always the same.

That’s why I love Emma’s (@rhubarbbotanicals ) story so much.

Yes, she started creating an actual path toward profitability...

But she also described herself afterward as “more grounded, less anxious, more connected, and excited to continue growing.”

THAT’S the kind of business I want you to build.

One that makes money and leaves room for you to actually have a life outside of it.

That’s a huge part of what we work on inside Six-Figure Flower Farming. 🌸
