@iamtraeperry may have traveled, performed, and grown through his journey as a Christian artist,
but one thing that has never changed is knowing where he came from.🤘🏼🙏🏻

Houston isn’t just a place on the map. It’s part of the story. It’s where roots were planted, lessons were learned, and the foundation was built. Trae has carried those roots with him while continuing to grow in his faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.

What makes the journey even more powerful is knowing that the platform was never the destination. The purpose has always been bigger than music. It’s being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

Through every stage, every song, every performance, and every season, the goal remains the same, to be a vessel for the Kingdom of God.
This is more than a Christian artist representing his city.

This is a reminder that you can grow, go farther, reach new places, and still remember exactly where God brought you from.

H-Town roots. Kingdom purpose. Jesus at the center of it all.

Last weekend was nothing short of amazing.

Had the chance to, not only utilize my graphic skills with designing the program and posters, but also perform alongside some of the @parkermusic_hisd alumni.

I got to reconnect with my teachers and faculty who’ve poured so much into me at a young age. It all felt surreal to say the least.

Thank you Mrs. @gigistarbuck for allowing me to use my gifts to contribute to this amazing event last weekend. It was one for the books.

And shout out to everybody who performed that night. We’re truly blessed to have the gifts that we do. God is the greatest! 🙏🏾🦁🎙️🥂🔥✨

Last week, I had an opportunity to do something that I’ve been envisioning for the past few years. I got to perform, for the first time, in our new cathedral space at THEE @wheeleravenuebc. It was such a surreal experience, and I thank my brother @jalen.vernon for allowing me the privilege to minister to the kids for our Back To School Revival. Can’t wait to run it back! 🙏🏾🎙️😮‍💨✨

Happy 713 Day to all my Houstonians around the world. No matter what side of town you’re from, this song is a dedication to us. 🤘🏾⭐️✨

Shoutout to my sensei @_thebeatbreaker for creating this masterpiece. This has been an idea of mine for the last few years. Thank you @lecrae for allowing us to use the sample. Since we both have Houston roots, it’s only right we represent where we’re from.

My latest single “In My Roots” is available now. Listen to it on your favorite streaming platform. 📀
