What an incredible day of trail running in Chamonix today! These are our 5 essential tips for all those supporters at #UTMB Finals in Chamonix this week! Supporting is not easy but at the same time is hugely rewarding and a lot fun!👉 1. Download the supporter bus timetable and bring your mobility pass. There are lots of road closures on route, the bus is eco friendly and a great way to meet other supporters 👉 2. Be as helpful as you can at checkpoints! Check the rules of which checkpoints you can crew. This is the time for motivation and efficiency.👉 3. Show your support for your runner, cow bells really help and don’t forget to cheer on all the runners and thank the volunteers!👉 4. Be prepared for all weathers, look after yourself, bring snacks and drinks and a spare charger, head torch and warm clothes for night👉 5. No words, just chapeau 🧢 to the first 300km PTL finishers, team UltraTiming, Victor Richard 🇫🇷 & Nicolas Lehmann 🇨🇭They have been running for a whopping 99h33m40s since Monday morning, through "apoplectic weather" and 30cm of snow at the top peaks.
