(English below) 🎬 125 personnes réunies pour notre première projection de Trails in Motion à Montréal! Quelle belle soirée hier à la salle J.A. de Sève de l’Université Concordia! Une ambiance chaleureuse, de belles rencontres et une programmation qui a su toucher et inspirer notre public! Quelques commentaires qui nous font chaud au cœur : « C’était ma première fois et j’ai adoré! » « Un événement rassembleur où ce ne sont pas simplement les coureurs qui sont les bienvenus! » « On sort de ces soirées avec l’envie de s’évader, explorer et découvrir. » C’est exactement l’esprit de Trails in Motion : rassembler et inspirer à travers des histoires humaines et des aventures extraordinaires! Merci à nos bénévoles, partenaires et participants, ainsi qu’à Mathilde DO pour les magnifiques photos! 📸 📅 Rendez-vous le 14 novembre à Montréal ou à l’une de nos 30 autres projections au Québec d’ici la fin novembre! ⸻ 🎬 125 people joined us for our first Trails in Motion screening in Montreal! What a wonderful evening at Concordia University’s J.A. DeSève Cinema! A warm atmosphere, great connections, and an inspiring film lineup that truly resonated with our audience! Some feedback that made our day: “It was my first time and I absolutely loved it!” “Such an inclusive event, welcoming everyone, not just runners!” “You leave feeling inspired to escape, explore, and discover.” That’s what Trails in Motion is all about: bringing people together through powerful stories and extraordinary adventures! Un immense bravo aux organisateurs de la projection de Chambly, Anthony Cloutier et Nicolas Mithieux, qui ont accueilli une cinquantaine de passionné·es de course en sentier au Délires et Délices, dans une ambiance aussi conviviale que chaleureuse! Une belle soirée de cinéma, de rencontres et d’inspiration autour des sept films de cette 14e édition de Trails in Motion. 👏 Merci à toute l’équipe organisatrice pour votre engagement et votre énergie, et à toutes les personnes présentes d’avoir contribué au succès de cette soirée! 📚 Joan Roch se joint à la tournée québécoise de Trails in Motion! (🏃‍♂️📚 An “ultraordinary” guest is joining the Trails in Motion Quebec Tour! This fall, we’re thrilled to welcome Joan Roch, author, speaker and, of course, trail runner, to several Trails in Motion screenings across Quebec!) Nous sommes très heureux d’accueillir l’auteur et coureur québécois @j0anr0ch dans le cadre de la tournée 2026 de Trails in Motion, à l’occasion de la sortie de son tout nouveau livre, « Rien ne sert de courir. Ce que m’ont appris 20 ans de course à pied. » Ce troisième livre est le fruit de deux décennies passées à courir : des premières sorties sur route en 2005 aux ultras, puis de longues aventures sans dossard vécues sur plusieurs jours et même plusieurs semaines. Inspiré notamment par « Born to Run » de Christopher McDougall et par les Rarámuris du Mexique, « Rien ne sert de courir » propose une réflexion sur notre rapport à la course, au temps et au mouvement. Une invitation à ralentir, à retrouver le goût du temps long et à apprécier autant le chemin parcouru que la destination.
