The art of consistency is learning to keep going when it stops being exciting.

When the new programme feels familiar.
When nobody’s watching.
When you’re putting in the work but the results haven’t caught up yet.

One session might not look like much. Neither will one walk, one meal you’ve planned, or a few minutes spent learning something.

But repeat those things for months and you start to see what they were building.

Choose something manageable. Give it your attention. Keep coming back to it.

And when you miss a day, return the next one. A bad day doesn’t have to become a bad month.

You don’t need to change your whole life by Monday. You need a habit you’ll still be doing in December. by @train_with_shire

The habit that changes everything? Doing what you say you’ll do.

We spend so much time overcomplicating things. Searching for a better plan, waiting for the right moment, finding another reason we can’t start.

But if you said you’d train today, show up.
If you said you’d get your steps in, get walking.
If you said you’d start looking after yourself, follow through.

Make promises you can actually keep. Then keep them—even when the excitement wears off.

The shit talk fades. The people who keep showing up give themselves the chance to get somewhere.

Every promise you keep gives you another reason to trust yourself.

Less talking. More doing.

Happy Monday. by @train_with_shire

You don’t need to wait until January to start feeling better about yourself.

If you’ve been saying you’ll get back into training, sort out your food and build a bit of consistency, this is your chance to start now.

I’ve got one coaching place left. In the reel, I go through exactly what’s included and how I’ll help you build a routine that works around your life—without expecting you to be perfect every week.

If you’re ready to make a change before the year is out, DM me and let’s have a chat.

You will not regret it. by @train_with_shire

Your Winter Arc doesn’t need to be 5 a.m. ice baths and disappearing from society.

It could be three solid training sessions a week. A food routine you can stick to. Enjoying Christmas plans without feeling like you’ve ruined everything.

I’m opening 2 places for online coaching starting in October. You’ll get a plan built around your schedule, nutrition guidance, weekly check-ins and someone in your corner when motivation dips.

DM me tell me what you’d like to change by January and we can have a conversation about reaching your goals and starting 2027 with a bang by @train_with_shire

Some days showing up for yourself takes more effort then anyone can see.

You might be dealing with stress, self doubt or things you’ve never told anyone about and still you found a way to get through that day.

If that’s you, give yourself some credit. You’re doing better than you think. by @train_with_shire

The hardest part of training is showing up when you don’t feel like it.

The thought of a hard session is nearly always worse than the session itself. Once you get through the door, warm up and start moving, you’re usually glad you came.

Sometimes, all it takes is packing your gym bag the night before, having your clothes ready and removing the chance to talk yourself out of it.

You won’t always feel motivated—and that’s exactly why discipline matters.

Make it easy to show up. Get it done. Feel better afterwards.

Discipline over motivation, 100% of the time.

Protein isn’t a magic fat-loss ingredient—and eating more of it won’t cancel out being in a calorie surplus.

But when you’re in a calorie deficit, it’s probably the most useful macronutrient on your side.

It keeps you fuller, helps preserve muscle, supports recovery and requires more energy to digest than carbs or fats.

That means fewer cravings, better training and a much better chance of looking leaner instead of simply becoming a smaller version of yourself.

A simple place to start: include a good protein source in every meal and aim for roughly 1.6–2.2g per kg of body weight each day.

A big part of my 1:1 coaching is helping clients set realistic protein and calorie targets—and then showing them how to hit those targets without living on chicken and rice.

September doesn’t need to begin with punishment for what you did over the summer.

No detox.
No starving yourself.
No training seven days a week.

Just get your routine back and start stacking consistent weeks.

You still have four months left in the year—more than enough time to make meaningful progress.

Make September your turning point.

If you need structure, accountability and a plan that works around your life, send me “SEPTEMBER” and we’ll chat about 1:1 coaching.
