My good gurly. Man what a fun sport. & we’re just getting started 🤞84.5 in obedience & a 192.5 in protection I was very happy with our scores. Considering our long down was zeroed (paw maybe a half inch out of the triangle) & our guard was zeroed (last second muzzle punch /kiss as I picked her up to heel away) assuming we can fix that our scores will reflect even stronger next showing. & really just shows how much of a monster she was on the field to have such competitive scores even with the two exercises zeroed. Room to improve.. wow that was fun!!

I absolutely love watching this little girl work.

I’ve had the opportunity to cover the media for both of her PSA1 legs, her first leg in Long Island, New York, and her second leg in Canada. Decoy @upliftedalphabullies Handler @training__dj #canada #germanshepherd #protectionsportsassociation taken in Canada by @training__dj

2 years & 5 days old “IVEY” closes out her PSA1 title in Canada 🇨🇦 taking third overall. The goal this entire year was PDC, PSA1 FL, PSA1 Title & we 100% never let that goal out of site or took our foot off the gas. Now don’t get it twisted we are just getting warmed up but a couple of people are paramount in this dogs journey & preparing her for the field of battle that has lead to her success @rocco_family_dog_training & @logic_driven_canine both in the thick of it with me constantly listening to me ramble good and bad ideas for my dog constantly pushing to do more and more & ultimately they let me be my dogs general manager while making sure I was grounded to some degree and not taking this ship overboard. I cannot even begin to thank y’all enough for being in my corner. This dog game can be weird and uncomfortable at times. Having people you can rely on makes this 100000X easier and more fun which is all it’s really about. There are many more to be thanked & you know who you are but these two gentleman needed to be highlighted.

3 different judges, 3 different fields, 3 different decoy lineups, 2 different countries we left no doubt in what was earned. We will certainly take our time in prepping for the upper levels but you best bet we will thoroughly enjoy the fruits of our labor with this trial season coming to a close and the accomplishments that were made.

If there is one thing I’ve learned this season it is calm is the trial field, there is no hiding there. Trust in the work & let em fly. Stay ready so you don’t gotta get ready.
