Powerful Agingโ„ข is built on five pillars โ€” not trends.

Strength, hormonal intelligence, longevity, capacity, and calm authority are the foundations that allow women to feel capable, steady, and confident through peri- and menopause.

This is the framework behind everything I teach.
Simple. Grounded. Sustainable.

Some days I feel powerful. Other days I start with the warm-up and see what happens.

Both count.

At 48, I train for the freedom strength gives me. To lift my own bags, get on the horse, try something new, and trust my body to join in.

The shoulders are a lovely bonus.

You are allowed to expect more than โ€œeat less and move more.โ€

In your 40s and 50s, understanding what is changing helps you choose support that actually makes sense.

ESTROGEN
As levels decline, fat can shift towards your waist. Menopause symptoms can also disrupt sleep and make your usual routine harder to maintain.

CORTISOL
Stress and poor sleep can influence appetite, cravings and energy. Recovery deserves a place in your plan alongside training.

INSULIN
Insulin helps move glucose from your blood into your cells. When those cells respond less effectively, blood sugar can rise. Regular movement, balanced meals and adequate sleep help support insulin sensitivity.

So where do you start?

* Strength train at least twice a week.
* Include protein in every meal.
* Eat vegetables, fibre-rich carbs and healthy fats.
* Walk daily and keep cardio you enjoy.
* Give sleep and recovery space in your schedule.
* If fat loss is your goal, use a small, sustainable calorie deficit.

And when exhaustion, broken sleep or other symptoms persist, ask for a proper assessment. Menopause and other possible causes deserve consideration.

HRT can help with menopause symptoms when appropriate. Its purpose is symptom treatment, rather than weight loss.

You are worthy of care that takes your symptoms seriously, explains your options and supports your quality of life.

Build the body you want to age in.
Give it the support it deserves.

A little fortune cookie. A big reminder.

For the woman wondering what her next chapter could hold: more strength, more confidence, more adventures worth being strong for.

Keep a little room for possibility. You still have so much becoming to do.

Swipe to open yours. Then send it to a woman whose next chapter youโ€™re cheering for. by @trainwithadrianna

October fuel prices had me reconsidering my horsepower.

No petrol. No Salik. Slightly complicated parking.
And the new model comes with opinions.

Would you swap your car for this ride, or are you too attached to the AC?

Oops I listed only 8 but maybe you can add the 9th one?

Aging well isnโ€™t passive.

Itโ€™s something you build.

In the way you move.
The muscle you keep.
The things you stay curious about.
The people you stay connected to.
The purpose that gets you out of bed.
And the way you continue to participate in your own life.

We talk so much about how to live longer.

Maybe we should talk more about how to stay fully alive while weโ€™re doing it.

Build the body.
Build the mind.
Build the life you want to age in.

Your glutes are not just there to fill out your leggings.

The gluteus maximus is the largest muscle in the body and one of its most powerful hip extensors. It helps you stand up, climb stairs, walk uphill, lift, accelerate and control your body when you lose balance.

That is why glute strength matters as you age.

The Health ABC Study didnโ€™t examine the glutes specifically, but it found something highly relevant: strength was strongly associated with mortality risk, while muscle size alone was not.

The takeaway?

The goal isnโ€™t simply to have bigger glutes.
Itโ€™s to have glutes that can still produce force when life demands it.

Train them with load.
Progress the challenge.
Support them with protein and recovery.

A great bum is a bonus.
Strength, mobility and independence are the real prize. ๐Ÿ‘

I train because I want to keep saying yes to life.

Yes to the long walk, the spontaneous trip, the heavy suitcase, the horse ride. Yes to being fully present for the years ahead, without wondering whether my body can keep up.

The gym is one part of my day. What it lets me do outside the gym is the point.

Every session is a small investment in the freedom to live more of the life I love.

Build the body you want to age in. ๐ŸคŽ

At what age are women supposed to stop turning heads?

Because these women clearly missed the memo.

Style doesnโ€™t expire. Confidence doesnโ€™t have a deadline. And the years ahead can still be your most powerful ones.

Which woman in this Reel is your inspiration? ๐Ÿ‘‡
