A throwback video as I refine my kicks underwater, striving for perfection with every stroke. Training never stops, even beneath the waves 💪🌊

MY GOAL IS TO HIT 80 METERS IN FRC! 😉

Sharing with y’all the video of my latest PB of my 45 meter in FRC. Do you think I can do it? How long do you think it will take me to achieve this goal?

I used the mouthfill technique as my means of equalization from 5 meters (sequential P & T locks), still had some air left 😏 I love the “hamstering” 😜🤓

➡️ READ THIS: If you don’t know, FRC dive means diving after a passive exhale. It’s a dive where you exhale passively, without having a full breath.

In FRC, at surface, your lungs will mostly contain an average of 3L of air, half of the normal average which is 6L.

With 3L of air in the lungs going to a depth of 45 meters, you will have a remaining volume of 540 mL which is the same amount an average diver with 6L of air in the lungs will experience at a depth of 100 meters.

In a dive to 45-m in FRC, we can say it is a simulation of the conditions a diver will experience at a 100-meter depth.

Special thanks to my human @diveye.freediving @freedivingjesse for this awesome video 📽️

⚠️REMEMBER⚠️ Advanced deep dives like this should always be attempted under the guidance of a qualified freediving instructor or coach to ensure safety and proper technique. 🌊🐠🤿
