👋 FAREWELL JONAH 👋 This week we said goodbye to Jonah 😢 He deserves a special post of his own because we’ve been on quite a journey together!

He started work with us as a teenage pot washer, graduated to the bar on his 18th birthday, and over the last year has worked his way up to bar supervisor. If he wasn’t off to uni, he’d probably end up running the place 😂

But alas, he’s left us and we now have a Jonah-sized hole in our bar team 🥹

The good news is he’s already counting down the days until he can get back behind the bar over the Christmas holidays 🎄🍻

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Take two…

It seems Instagram has eaten our original post overnight 🤷‍♀️ so we’re sharing the good news again!

Last night we received a well-deserved 5-star Food Hygiene Rating following an unannounced inspection! As you can see, we’re super happy about it 🤩 A massive thank you to our incredible bar and kitchen teams for all their hard work 🙏

If you’re seeing this for the second time because Instagram decided to have a wobble overnight, another ❤️ or comment would mean the world. It really helps independent businesses like ours reach more people.

⚽️ It’s coming home… hopefully! 🏆

With England kicking off at 10pm on Saturday night, we’ve decided to let our brilliant team finish a little earlier so they can enjoy the match too! So on Saturday, kitchen last orders will be 8.45pm and we’ll be closing at 9.30pm.

The good news: we’re now FULLY AIR CONDITIONED, so it’s a lovely cool spot for pre match drinks and food before you head home for kick-off 🍻 🍹 🍷 if you wanna book a table with us please use the link in our bio

It’s time for an APPRECIATION POST ❤️

A huge thank you to the wonderful folks @srbeerco for dropping everything yesterday tea time to come and fix our beer cooling system. The thermostat had broken and all our beer was pouring warm… not exactly ideal on a fully booked Saturday 😭🍺

As always though, you, our wonderful customers, were patient, understanding and generally lovely throughout 🙏 Many of you very gamely ordered drinks outside your normal comfort zone while waiting for the beer to chill 😂

We literally made FIVE TIMES more cocktails than on a normal Saturday night… our cocktail-shaking arms are definitely feeling it today 🍸💪🍹

And finally, the biggest thanks of the evening go to our magnificent front of house team — Sophie, Jonah & Rach — who worked even harder than usual in pretty trying circumstances ❤️ Nights like this are a reminder that hospitality is always a team effort 🥰 taken in The Tramshed by @tramshedbar

💫 TABLE BOOKINGS 💫 We take food bookings for our upstairs space (link in bio), but downstairs is mainly kept free for walk-ins.

🗓️ When we open each day, we switch off the booking system as we’re busy on the floor and can’t monitor new requests in real time. This means online bookings may show as unavailable for the same day, but we often still have space available for walk-ins 😊

So if you’re nearby, please do pop in and we’ll always do our best to find you a spot 🍻

For future dates and upstairs bookings, our booking system remains available in advance 🌟

🔥 Pan-Asian Vegan Small Plates @tramshedbar 🔥

We enjoyed 2-for-3 on dishes which runs every Tuesday evening! Comfy vibes inside and each dish packed a flavour punch. 💥

The kitchen offers GF options as well as a dedicated GF fryer which you can use. 🌾

👋 Goodbye Archie 👋 We recently said goodbye to the bar tending legend that is Archie, as he heads out of Sheffield and off to University! We’ll miss his sunny disposition, pint pouring skills and his ability to reach those high shelves without needing to get the step ladder out 😘 We know a lot of you will miss him too, but don’t fear we’re already counting down the days until he’s back with us for the Christmas holidays 😊
