Sean Tyas shares his thoughts on the current state of Trance music and why many within the Trance community feel the genre has lost its soul over the years.

While Trance melodies continue to inspire artists across dance music, including Techno producers exploring more emotional sounds, he believes the heart of Trance has always been rooted in simplicity, emotion, and strong songwriting.

In this current chapter, Sean explains that his contribution to the scene comes from taking things back to the roots. Instead of following the overly layered direction of modern trance production, he focuses on reconnecting with timeless melodies, honest emotion, and the raw energy that once defined the genre.
